Psk I think we can all agree that Alexis is more of a new M3 than used 3 series. And I like to think of Ozil as more of a top Uber driver, assisting anyone who's in need.

Others though, :{

Ok, ok, Alexis is a used M3 but a 2008 M3... Ozil is a 2012 A4 with 90k miles... :lol

A few more details on the exit

The ManUtd Blog ‏@the_manutd_blog:

Jose Mourinho rang Van Gaal himself in the last couple of weeks to admit @ManUtd had sounded him out about the Old Trafford job.
He wanted to preserve his friendship with Van Gaal and ensure there was no ill-feeling, when news broke out. (Mirror)

Van Gaal would have walked away from @ManUtd for nothing if the club had handled his dismissal better.
He has waived compensation in the past and he was originally willing to do so at United but he demanded a full payoff.
Sources close to Van Gaal felt Ed Woodward had not been truthful with him over the past few months. (Times)

Glad that Woody's bumbling act ended up costing him some $ :lol

Not even a 2013 with the redesign? Dang :lol

What are theae rumors of Son leaving Spurs? Is Goal fabricating stuff or is there any hints of truth behind this rumor? 8o 8o

Son will go if Pooch deems him surplus requirements. I think he can play in the Prem. As much as I'd like to pull for the Koreans in whatever league, he seemed like a Levy buy & not one from Pooch. It sounds like he's ready to try & sell Nabil Bentaleb & Ryan Mason also.

Uh, no. Alexis definitely not the redesign... :p

Suarez > Ronaldo.

K let's not get carried away...
Why is that hard to believe ? Suarez is top 3 in the world imo and there are days when he looks better than Messi and Ronaldo and vice versa. Some of y'all are more in love with Ronaldos looks that his play and y'all can't seem to differentiate the two. Disregard your crush for a moment and then you'll be enlightened.

Son would be a solid fit for us at Liverpool. I thought dude was dope at Leverhusken and I wished he would come to Pool. Was pretty mad that Tottenham ended up with him and they barely used him imo.

I agree with all of dis...

10 reasons Mourinho is the wrong man for Man Utd

1. TACTICALLY OUTDATED | Ever since taking over Real Madrid in 2010, Mourinho has not evolved in a strategic sense. While his favoured 4-2-3-1 system is still popular in the Premier League, none of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus or Atletico Madrid use it. Mourinho’s philosophy of a rigid formation protected by a flat back four and double midfield pivot has become predictable and overly pragmatic.

2. ANTI-FOOTBALL, NOT ATTACKING FOOTBALL | One of the principle reasons for sacking Van Gaal is his sterile brand of possession football. It is farcical, then, that in a bid to bring the buzz back to Old Trafford, United have now turned to a coach renowned for a defence-orientated, counterattacking game. Against top opposition, Mourinho's teams nearly always set out to destroy rather than create. Hardly 'the Manchester United way'.

3. HOMEGROWN HATER | Jose Mourinho's record of bringing young players through the ranks – or lack of one – is infamous. Would the likes of Jesse Lingard, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Marcus Rashford or Timothy Fosu-Mensah have broken into the first team under Mourinho? No chance.

4. COMPLETE STYLE CHANGE | Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola are coaches who have been hired to develop the existing styles and tactics already deployed at Chelsea and Manchester City. Mourinho's tactics are nothing like what Louis van Gaal has been playing at Man Utd, so the team will have to start again from scratch.

5. NO CLASS, NO DIPLOMACY | Whatever one's views on Manchester United's supposed moral high ground, it is easy to understand why club legend Bobby Charlton was against appointing Mourinho as Alex Ferguson's successor. He's eye-gouged a fellow coach, played a direct role in the retirement of a referee and, most recently, made a female team doctor's position completely untenable. Charlton said that while Ferguson respected Mourinho, "he doesn't like him too much". Few do.

6. RELATIONSHIP WITH JORGE MENDES | The most powerful agent in the world, Mendes is so close to Mourinho that he reportedly had his own office at Real Madrid during his friend’s reign. This has led to many of Mendes’ players moving to Mourinho clubs, but will this be healthy for Man Utd? The laughable loan signing of Mendes client Radamel Falcao for Chelsea last summer illustrates the risks of such a relationship.

7. SHORT-TERM BLINKERS | Instant success is everything Mourinho stands for and why he's being hired, but that's not what Fergie saw as the Manchester United way. Any talk of the club developing a dynasty will be torpedoed and all that will matter is the next result, the next win, the next trophy.

8. MAN UTD BOARDROOM BATTLE | Transfer chief Ed Woodward is believed to be the architect of Mourinho's impending arrival at Old Trafford but few others at boardroom level are convinced the Portuguese should be hired, including Ferguson. If Mourinho flops, the pressure to turn form around will mount rapidly.

9. POOR PEP RECORD | One of the biggest challenges for Man Utd next season will be competing with Manchester City and Guardiola. Although he's had the occasional success, the 2010 Champions League most memorably, his record vs Pep's Barcelona while at Real Madrid was noticeably inferior.

10. MIXED TRANSFER RECORD | Over £300 million has been thrown away on transfers like Marouane Fellaini, Memphis Depay and Angel Di Maria since Ferguson retired in 2013. Meanwhile, Mourinho's transfer record is littered with expensive flops like Ricardo Quaresma, Amantino Mancini and Nuri Sahin, as well as terrible sales like Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Arjen Robben.

Giroud aint a Winnebago... Gooners think he's a like a Cayman GT4 but he more like a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. :lol :p

Hannibal has definitely been more prolific than Ronnie (& Messi) this campaign. I mean 35 league goals (40 overall) & 16 assists? Plus he tracks back & defends. It's a shame he's such a divisive figure.

Would love to hear the suggestions for the "right" man currently :lol

In any case, can't possibly get any worse than the last 2 post-SAF stints...

No one's knocking Dracula's year,it was spectacular especially when Messi was out and he was still wrecking the league with Neymar and his assist totals at the no.9 spot are ridiculous. Imo if the B'dor was based on purely on the field merit,he'd deserve it this year. Just that Ron's an All Timer,Suarez is on his way.

He's made himself a divisive figure though :lol,no sympathy there

I threw out some names spit balling but if I had the resources that daft pr**k woody had, I know I could do a lot better than Jose. Shoot, you, me, & eiddy would be much much better. Can't bring Coupe into this because he's waaaay too biased with the port chop angle. :rolleyes :p

Another good read from The Guardian...

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...nho-manchester-united-marriage-of-convenience

Going from one tyrant to another dictator type isn't good. The players mentally won't get any respite.

Edit - Doesn't United have one of or the best U21 team? Some of those players are at a point where they should get some consistent first team action. That's definitely not happening with Jose.

Mendes is going to have one helluva dumpster sale for United. Everyone on that Valencia team is going to end up at OT & Jose & Mendes will bring Neville to help with them. :lol

Another good read.

But seriously doe? Prove me wrong Jose. I would love that.

This flew over my head. Ronaldo has been playing for 14 years. He wasn't putting no crazy numbers all 14 years so cut out the foolishness. He's been on better teams than Suarez for the majority of his career so of course he is gonna put up numbers. On Real, Ronaldo is the main go to guy. They feed him the ball. Everyone else is there just to cater to him. Suarez is putting up numbers on a team where they share the ball. 3 of Barcelona's players are in the top 5 of scoring. So cut the foolishness out. Pull down your shirt, your Ronaldo tramp stamp is showing.

I didn't say he was for 14 years though,I specifically said for the last decade or so :lol. If it was so easy to put up crazy stats like that on superstar squads how come no one else is doing it as consistently besides 2 guys? Like I mentioned in the other post, nothing against Suarez this season. He was by a mile the best striker on the planet but just saying the ridiculous longevity and all-time numbers Ronnie has had put him on that goat tier along with Messi. Their primes have lasted longer than most careers :x

For that last bit, you're the one tryna get personal and take shots though per usual :lol, don't get mad when when someone comes back my guy...

It's La Liga, these cats steam roll teams on a weekly basis. Giving teams 6 love like its nothing. Hat tricks every other week. Don't take it personal. It was all done in jest. You're good in my book. And I still don't understand your clap back so meh.

True those squads run the league but no one but to usually double the next top scorer on your already stacked squad is hard. What I give both of them a little more props for is for doing it in England and Spain. Both of them have had all time seasons in both leagues and seem to be able to eat anywhere they're given a ball :lol

I feel you :lol, don't really take anything personal in here. Especially coming from 'Pool fans,it's only natural :lol :lol

In my unprofessional opinion, Suarez has been better than Ronaldo for 2-3 seasons (including his last season at Liverpool). As much as I hate this shoulder-biting *****, the man has ripped through La Liga and European opponents the past few seasons. Suarez is scoring goals against PSG, Real Madrid, Atleti, and others while Ronaldo pads his stats against Granada and Malmo. Suarez also doesn't take penalties and FK's like Ronnie. Suarez is the one player in that front three who is irreplaceable in my opinion as well. Messi can cover Neymar's role and vice versa, but neither can lead the line like Luis.

Just my two cents :lol
