My boy is Chilean and he told me that Chilean papers are saying that Alexis is considering moving this summer because he wants to win the league and CL. He feels that Arsenal is making that right moves such as buying players to do so.

But English media has reported that he is going to enter talks about a 2yr contract extension.

We will see, I totally get where he is giving from. He's not the first player to complain about that (if he did in fact complain)....it's nothing new, thats Wenger.

But I don't think there are many teams that can take on Alexis. I know Juve want him but I think they started to look elsewhere.
I think he will stay.

Prime's a grown man, he can do what he wants and I kind of remember him asking which team to root for. He gave Arsenal a shot, but as has been the case with everything lately, the team failed to close the deal. So please enjoy United, at least it's not Chelsea.


Alexis though, he needs to stay. We absolutely cannot afford to lose our best player and most obvious reason for the relative success we have had lately. We couldn't replace him, and Wenger needs to do what he can to make the man happy.

But Na man, it wasn't just me dude!!! I was saying that he had to go into the season with a team, he couldn't be out here rooting for Arsenal and Manchester United when the season started. But I have no issue with him changing his team at all. He tried to be an Arsenal fan, but it didn't work out. No problem. But during the actual season would have been weird, esp in here


But I told him too last year - "You don't have to have a favorite team in the EPL, you don't need to root for different clubs in different leagues to enjoy it." See, I tried that - In 2006, after the WC, I sort of "forced" myself to have a favorite EPL club because I wanted to watch more footy. I chose Manchester United because Ronaldo was an upcoming star, but mostly because he was Portuguese.

Then I saw Ronaldo score a 40 yard screamer against Porto in the Champions League and I got pissed Due to that "confliction " I fell back, but I was still sort of rooting for Man United. Ronaldo got transfered to Real Madrid not long after and then I realized "Whoa, I could care less about United now and I could in no way, shape, or form be a Real Madrid supporter because of Ronaldo".

After that I literally told myself "Ight, enough of this, my heart has and always will be with Porto, no need to have a second favorite club/fav team in separate leagues - I'm just going to enjoy football". It seems like PRIME 's heart his with PSG, and his fav player is Ibra. But Ibra won't be at United long, then what happens?

But yea, I enjoy the EPL just as much as anyone and watch whenever I can. I watch the EPL more than any other league due to NBCSN and I'll definitely be watching even more EPL this upcoming year. The narrative and drama is at an all-time high (the EPL is fantastic and the best at this btw) - with Mou and Pep now managing in the same damn town, Leicester trying to repeat, Conte at Chelsea, Arsenal continuing to act be so "Arsenaly", Wenger pocketing the money and spending, Wenger for some reason still having a job, etc. I love this **** - but I don't need to have a favorite club to enjoy it. Thats just me tho
