When he was coming up at Santos, wasn't he touted as being a superstar prospect on the same level as Neymar? Similar to how the youth coaches at Sporting Lisbon thought Quaresma would be better than Cristiano?

Yea he was highly rated but for one reason or another things never really worked out for him and it got quiet. I remember some years ago, the rumors of him making his way to Europe but that just never happened. But he's finally getting his chance, Sevilla is a good luck for him. Apparently he has been in good form as of late. I hope he can keep it up.

I heard that Inter is in the lead for Gabriel Jesus. He's a big fan of R9 so it would be no surprise if he reached out and influenced his decision. But idk if that's a good place for his development. Jovetic has a bad injury record, that can lead to GJ getting some playing time but there are a couple of young strikers on the books at Inter.

Pogba really wants to go to Real but will most likely go to United for 3yrs first before heading to Real. His wage demands to go back to United is crazy though. 300 pounds/week and he wants a 15mill gbp transfer bonus. Funny how a few years ago United fans laughed at Chelsea for buying back Matic for 21m afte we sold im for almost nothing.

Pogba is only 23. Even if he comes to United for 3 years, United will get a world class player for 3 years, and a guaranteed transfer world record when selling him to Madrid. Sounds like a good deal for United.

Sampaoli is a disciple of Bielsa so I'd be fine with either. The AFA is in complete disarray right now though. Martino stepped down because he couldn't assemble an Olympic squad. There's a good chance we don't even compete.

Copa and Euro Cup are FIFA sanctioned tourneys so clubs can't withhold their players from playing for their country. Olympics aren't under FIFA so clubs can do whatever they want.
