There is no clear cut GOAT NT in my opinion, every era sees a different country stand out above the rest.

But you felt confident to make the comment that Germany isn't the GOAT NT based on them losing in a semi final to a home team where they weren't even thoroughly outplayed? As if it was a complete failure. Not only that but even laugh at someone saying that they're a GOAT NT a couple of weeks after Brazil couldn't advance past Ecuador and Peru in a group.

Germany isn't the GOAT NT because:
A. They don't have the most WC wins
B. They've never even won a Confederations Cup, can't be the GOAT if you haven't won every major international tourney.

Brazil isn't the GOAT for all the reasons you mentioned.

Brasil is still top for me in my opinion. The fear of them playing is ever present, their B and C team can be secured from around the world.

I'm biased but I don't think so. They're going through a talent drought right now. As an Argentinian I can honestly say that currently I'd rather face Brazil in a major tourney than other South American countries like Chile and Uruguay.

I don't consider the Confederations Cup to be that major of an achievement, but Denmark has also won the Euros.....

The "confederations cup" that you are talking about that denmark won was actually called the "King Fahd Cup". It had 6 teams competing:
Denmark
Mexico
Saudi Arabia
Argentina
Nigeria
Japan
