Domestic championship vs a worldwide cup

Very accurate

Would have been better if they compared it to the CL

It's always the herbs on social media making the comparisons

Even though half of Europe dabbing like Cam...

How is this even a debate? One sport is for the entire world the other a country? Its not even fair tbh. Its kind of pointless to compare ratings.

Valencia has been playing so bad man :{

Gary should just take that L and move on...

Huge difference between analyzing a match, and getting players to do what you want them to do....

Gary was foolish. Should have always taken a smaller job first and built his way up.

I'm sure the language barrier alone is overwhelming among other things. Dude is in over his head. He's gotta go, there's nothing he can do to turn it around.
This whole, lets give someone a shot at managing a major club with no experience really irks me

Think he has 2 games to save his job..

@HEGGSY

We're living in your dream, how does it feel?

Seriously, this is amazing. There is no precedent. Enjoy every moment dude.

I can somewhat relate to what your going thru, when Porto won the champions league in 2004 - but A) I was too young to cherish the moment B) we already won a championship league before. What's going on right now with Leicester, this is just some straight up madness :lol

City :{ without Kompany they aren't winning the league. Defense was a joke
Honestly Chelsea could have won that game. DDG is the truth though. Hope zuma is ok it did not look good.
Costa's goal was more Borthwick-Jackson's fault then Blind's. Dude just had to step up to get Costa off side. He was asleep.

Liverpool :{ :{

Arsenal got it together Sanchez starting to find some form. Ozil gonna ozil.

Funny how the debate will go at year end since Ox is getting more minutes it seems now...ox > memphis :lol

I was entirely serious about seeing who is better at the end of the year

thats where i was going

when the comparison was first made people who said ox >>> were laughed at, but with memphis looking like he won't see the field much more this year...and ox looking like he may be getting more minutes....ox may have a better year.

im sure the united fans will argue Memphis didn't get a fair shake...or he will still be better in the long run...but i thought it was kind of funny ox may turn out to at least have the better year which no one thought.

Ask Man U fans at the beginning of the year, they'd probably tell you Memphis was going to have 20 goals 10 assists and win YPOTY

One good CL qualifier against some scrubs and they thought he was Cristiano pt 2

huh?

The beginning of the season, his hype was warranted. Look at his previous performances before he signed to United.
The hype didn't come from his CL qualifier, it came from his entire previous season at PSV. You know, when he finished the league top scorer (22 goals), was a beast with the FK's, and won the league title?

You're proving my point

No, I'm not.

You're making it sound like Memphis had one good game, and the hype train started.

I'm clarifying that the hype train started earlier, and was perfectly warranted.

It's just a shame it didn't work out as planned.

Both guy stats are gross. I actually like Ox, always wanna see brothas flourish

Depay with 0 assists is really yuck tho

I thought he'd have a monster impact. Hyped him up probs more than anyone in this thread before the year. Ill take that L :lol

The hype train was def warranted. He was a monster last season at PSV and showed great promise in the early parts of the year..and then..idk wtf happened. Media getting to his head, not training hard enough, terrible form..I can go on.

All signs were pointing up before the season for Depay IMO. I think he had 20 previous goals in the Eredivisie and was a major factor in PSV winning the league. Now that wasn't gonna translate to the BPL at all but I thought 10-15 goals was achievable for him and he never was a playmaker so didn't expect many assists at all.

I personally think that he thought he could of just walked in and succeeded at Man U with no effort. He didn't have the heart and supposedly has an attitude problem according to different people.

Look at his former teammate Wijnaldum for example. He has the desire and will to score goals even for Newcastle. You can say he plays for a bottom half team but he's scoring against the same teams Depay could be scoring against. You switch the players and Wijnaldum would be doing the same if not more at Man U because he has the desire.

I'm not taking anything away from Depay, even wanted him prior to us getting Sterling but this is a big reality check for him. Still plenty of games left this season to see if any fire can burn in him but if he doesn't change things around he's just gonna be another footballer lost in history wasting away the talent.
