It's still very early to judge Memphis, for all we know he could be a monster next season. Willian was trash for us for a couple years before emerging this season

I just don't see that happening unfortunately. I don't even see LVG playing Memphis again this season.
He's also unlucky because LVG makes strange subs, and often at the wrong time. Bringing on players extremely late, with very little time to find their feet and make an impact. So realistically if LVG sticks to that mentality, I can't see Memphis playing again, in any relatively important match this season.
His best hope is to get to the Euro's and beast there to impress for next season.

I hope he get's some chances in the EL but I agree with most of what you wrote especially given that Tony and Jesse have been in form holding their own on both flanks. Sucks for him that when he was getting pt,he was being played out of position often. The mans subs hardly ever make any damn sense at all

I would love a world tournament for every sport but American Football would never do that. Game is to high risk and more importantly to some owners and some fans there is to much money involved for American owners to be cool with letting their star player compete in competitions for their country. Club owners feel the same when international friendlies come around
