You get two steps after a gather. Basically you have to jump off the same foot you gather with

Gather vs. Last Dribble.

NOT the same thing.

You are starting your count after the last dribble, NOT at the gather.

He basically started his Two-Step gather from the Free Throw Line, but people watch the ball so of course it gets confusing.
