Nah not really it’s easier to play when u got myrie and Jim dishing u the Ball . Look at the shots he’s getting mostly Cuts and open shots . Reduced role and having star players around him definitely is a big factor in his "resurgence", but he was looking in Detroit like he could barely move and was a total liability on defense. He definitely was not giving maximum effort there.

Idk Blake was killing it his first year and a half in Detroit. Then once he got hurt, he stayed that way.

At some point once his name was in trades for two years he might've turn it down to preserve his body. Who knows
