Again we'll just agree to disagree on this one, I personally know people who view the word as derogative so i don't use it around them despite me using the word all the time.

And there's nothing weird about shedding light on something you view as negative & trying to change it  .

I guarantee you the same people speaking loud about how Kyrie should have felt & reacted to this wouldn't discuss a trans athlete taking offense to being called out of their preferred pronoun with the same recklessness & that's my point every time Kyrie does something.

From the sage, to the walking stick, to some of his beliefs he's shared.... Because these aren't traditional to the more well known religions these things get mocked, clowned & disrespected out of pure ignorance.

Women call each other B's all day but they don't talk like that around their grandmothers, It's a time and place for everything. Some of the stuff they're tryna push with the trans is ridiculous too but that's another different topic.

Kyrie just does too much. He one of them dudes that just started reading, watched some youtube conspiracy videos and his mind is all over the place. Kyrie seem like a good dude but everybody ain't fit to be this spokesmen.

again we are assuming that’s why he was upset.
Bron went off cause Draymond called him a B. Everyone’s line is different.

I mean it's not exactly using some hidden context clues when you look at the video, his immediate reaction and escalation, and THEN the tweet coming out after people deduced he was mad cause Schröder said that word to him. What do you think he was upset about given those set of circumstances?

I had a friend like that, late to mid 20s, had to completely unfollow that dude. And he was VERY anti white people but beasting, beasting over Taylor Swift looking also ran *** white girls who he always failed to pull and sent him into bouts of depression. Then he'd go home and write a 20 page expose on FB about how the white people are the devil and have no culture and he aint Mexican, he's Native and they're God's original people then he'd send me a pic of an Anglo Saxon yamb he matched with and thought he had a chance with, only to get dissed.

Myrie doesn’t want to be called N. Y’all can’t respect that?

I completely respect that.

What I question is him deciding to make a broad, public pronouncement on social media to the effect nobody should ever say it period, especially considering he’s well aware of how pervasive the use of the word is among his peers.

Him deciding for himself about what he doesn’t want to be called, perfectly reasonable. Him trying to dictate to other people how to feel about it, going too far, IMO.

I gave up trying to figure out what Myrie thinks. It’s not my place to.

and Schroeder is a troll. Been one. I know what type of time he’s on

So because he lost his cool this one time he should react aggressively everytime going forward..... and if he doesn't then his feelings were never real?

Fam i never thought i'd see the day where a black man saying I don't like being called a ***** would bring so much controversy  .
Keep in mind that the internet isn’t real  Lotta cappin. You not ignoring anyone in real life who asks you not to call them that

I hear you but we often times strip these celebs of all humanity. Dude is on a path to enlightening himself & he's sharing his thoughts & opinions along the way like any normal human being does on social media/NT whateva.

his thoughts and beliefs are uncommon, so that's often attributed to him being fake woke or trying to be smarter than others when in reality he's just putting his thoughts out. I don't see Kyrie promoting himself as some end all be all scholar.

he can tell people about a word just like Bron or anyone can tell you to vote. Or sell you something. It’s his right as a black man to do so. He’s not @ing everyone saying it. He’s giving you his opinion.

I respect him voicing his opinion. I’m still going to say N because it’s my right to as a brotha.

I find it extremely hard to believe that no one else has called Kyrie a ***** this season.
With that in mind, I highly doubt he reacts like that if Dennis wasn't cooking his ***.

That’s fair.

Cool but Ima go out on a limb and say that wont to be the last time he's called that or hears in a majority black league.

That’s fair too. He’s going to hear N, just don’t call him one. If this indeed the reason for the blowup, I don’t think anyone is calling him a N to his face. He’s a different dude but he’s still well respected across the league. Dudes are pros and know what lines to cross.

no one has called Bron a B since Draymond did. That’s respect
