Need a aepps20 aepps20 review of his form and footwork

Herro Chan just proved that he is more than just his Gundam. That Right uppercut would put anyone down but based on the power he is gunning for James "Jimmy" Butler and I'm very proud of him. That's the fight I want to see.

with all that nba talent. i really dont get it

it'a pretty simple really, i said this before but

Canada basketball is fatally flawed.

our players grow up playing basketball in the American system,
they develop American sensibilities...

and like most American players they are don't feel a burning desire to represent their country unless it's the Olympics.

For America, that's fine, team USA is an all star team, Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Steph curry ect can roll out of bed and stomp any fiba team by 30+ points.

Canada does not have enough talent to do that.

Andrew Wiggins, Lugentz Dort, Trey Lyles, RJ Barrett are not going to show up a week before the tournament, play zero friendlies.
and go against a czech team that has probably been playing together since they were like 16 and just out talent them.

and until a group of 8 dudes commit to playing, every god damn summer.
we will never do anything worth a danm in international basketball.

A hastily assembled team Canada cannot consistently beat fiba team's who've been playing together for their entire lives.

simple answer, every support has been delegated mostly for Ice Hockey. you ever wonder why there are lots of Canadian NHL teams and players as opposed to basketball?

nah that's not an excuse any Canadian player with talent, can play auu ball, and/or play at a prep school in the US and develop.

Canada has more than enough talented basketball players to compete.
the problem is Canadian NBA players only want to play when it's convenient to them,

when in reality success internationally requires sacrifice.

That def was a horrible loss by Canada tho, losing to Jan Vesely at home

Jan Vesley is an very good C in the euro league

and has been playing with Tomas Satoransky in every Euro basket, an every qualifying tournament. every youth tournament since they were both 16 im guessing?

Center rotation of Trey Lyles, Dwight Powell and Andrew Nicholson don't have enough talent to overcome that much experience + chemistry.

I’m theory Wiggins/RJ/NAW should be good enough to overcome that tho right? …They almost did but like you said the Czech team was just too tough all game

Add Jamal Murray to that I would say yah.

without him...well you saw the result.

ultimately nice that Wiggins played, but it's too little too late. and now we're prob gunna lose Nick Nurse.

this whole thing is a waste of time. they need to make a rule.
either you commit for every summer for the next 4 years barring injury or contract status or don't play period.

They got dominated on the interior and that Czech coach had some awesome half court sets.
Yea those big Euros play different, the NBA cats probly ain’t used to it :lol

But osh kosh bosh osh kosh bosh the multi year commitment sounds good but don’t think it’s seen as that “prestigious” yet to play for Canada to be alienating folks and laying down ultimatums

The good Team USA squads still get pushed by the Spains/Serbias/etc of the world. Canada has a fraction of their talent. Definitely susceptible to catch an L against some of these countries with a ton of continuity.

Good alienate them. I don't want them.

I'd rather RJ and 8 solid commitments then these dude that get a hang nail, or they'd rather hang out in South Beach all summer and then can't play.

Steve Nash and a bunch of European pros made the Olympics and finished 5th I believe.

Steve was paying outta pocket to upgrade the whole sqaud to first class plane tickets.

I'd rather recreate that, than have a bunch of entitled superstars who only get up when an Olympic birth is hanging by a thread.
