I keep seeing people throw that out there and also saying we should go for CP and have CP and Kawhi but why would either of those guys leave their currently very successful teams for us?

Also is it even smart to pay them that money? CP turns 37 next year and Kawhi got 37 year old knees. With our luck they'll both get injured and we'll end up in the lottery again, drafting 3 spots lower than we were projected to.

I think it’s as simple as the Knicks having cap space and Kawhi being a FA, so some members in the media are going to try and make a story out of it. Plus, with Kawhi, a lot of people feel he’s totally unpredictable and could make a move that would seem to go against logic.

And definitely a risk to sign either of those guys to max long term deals due to age/durability issues.

I recently got a pair of PG 5s and, although I haven’t played in them, I like the way they feel. You likely can get a pair for under $100.
