Listening to this Simmons/KOC pod and they actually brought up something I hadn't even thought about...

Why didn't we try to put Evan Mobley on Team USA given the lack of American bigs? He's going to be a top 3 pick and played both the U17 and U19 teams. They mentioned Cade too (also played for the U19 team) and said they should've replaced Love and Grant.

Wouldn't have been mad.
He’ll get bullied if they actually gon depend on him to play …Just to be on the roster is cool but not ready for a rotational spot yet

Nah I don’t think he should actually play at all. Kevin Love is completely worthless though, and it would be cool to get another young guy in the system, especially at a position of need. Give him a few mins in these random exhibition games. Let him practice with some of the league’s top talent.

Need Wall gone soon. Can’t have him taking reps away from the youngin’s

Andre and the bench played a vital role during the Warriors championship run.
They did. Back then not only did teams have to worry about the usual cast of characters scorching them, but then the continuity continued when they went to the bench.

I know it's just an exhibition game, but still, to keep it that close and lose to Nigeria, smh. Also this squad is sus. Thinking about the past USMNT and the all-star caliber rosters (92 and 96 come to mind), got me thinking how and why did some of these ****** make the squad.
