What giving up if you NO? And what should Portland want to trade in conference?

If they're not stupid or spiteful (ala Spurs) and take the best package available, BI > Simmons plus Pels have more picks. You aren't going to really say whatever picks Philly would give POR would be better than NO are you?

No I’m not foolish lol I agree NO has a better package if they choose to go for Dame. Idk if NO ready to go win now mode for Zion

just depends on these GMs.

NO better be thinking win now with Zion with firing SVG after 1 season. They're already on the clock.

Of course Morey would want Dame more, but there are teams with better draft capital and more young talent that could just beat them out in a trade, and don't have to worry about him jetting in free agency. Pelicans are a solid example.
Dame is likely going to dictate his next destination aside from someone coming through with a grandfather offer.

Biz quietly made a lot of money for a guy who could only dunk on offense

Just scan through the teams that have been linked to a Simmons trade already: Cleveland, Indiana, Minnesota and Sacramento are known suitors. Toronto is also said to have expressed interest. More will emerge.

“All the teams that suck and have generall been poorly run have expressed interest in Ben Simmons”

What is this misnomer that a superstar player will never get traded in conference? If Dame dictates he wants to go to a west team then that's where he's going.
So Portland is going to willingly trade their superstar away to the lakers so he can drop 50 on them four times a year

there’s a reason the three favorites as it stands right now, are all East teams

This game against the Heat a few years ago as an expiring contract made him a ton of money:

I was there live and this clinching game was historic for the franchise as they’ve never made it past the second round.

They'd be hard pressed to turn down Kyle Kuzma and 2 firsts

There are no favorites. I didn't say anything about the Lakers but again as we've seen time and again superstars in this league go where they want to go as much as the incumbent team tries their best not to accommodate them.

Not trading a player within conference because you don't want to get lit up three or four times a season is dumb.

Right. The whole "don't trade him within the conference/division" argument was made for the NFL not the NBA.

I hope more people keep disagreeing with me because that will bring my pipe dreams more into fruition. I’m always right.
