I'm just thinking what All Star player outside of Kawhi (case in point of a team being spiteful and screwing your own self) wasn't traded within conference or ultimately got exactly where he wanted to go?
Harden got to the Nets
PG got to the Clippers
AD got to the Lakers
Kemba got to the Celtics
CP0 got traded in conference twice
Westbrook was traded in conference
Etc, etc.
The philosophy just hasn't played out in that manner at all. You take the best deal bottom line or end up like the Spurs on the treadmill of purgatory.

I’d hardly say the pacers suck. The sixers will end up having to take Brogdon and a pick most likely. The pacers will go with levert, Simmons, sabonis and warren off his injury.

FIBA refs really just demonstrating how easily the NBA could fix this if they actually wanted to. All they gotta do is instruct the refs to not call soft stuff and baited stuff.

This sucks because this validates all of the "current NBA is soft" takes at these oldheads make.
It is incredible just how much foul hunting has become a part of the modern game. It's to the point where our players don't even know how to finish plays, they're playing for the whistle as opposed to trying to score a basket.
Honestly though, you can't blame the players. NBA players tailor their game to the way NBA officials regulate the game.
You would think this would give team USA an advantage because our guys are quicker and stronger but it's having the opposite effect.

I think he's just a father of three in his mid-thirties. He's just a corny dude and he's fine with that. I can totally see his kids being embarrassed when they see this lol. I don't think he's trying to be cool for teenagers at the stage in his career.
I'd much rather LeBron's social media persona then Kevin Durant's overly sensitive behavior.
