I think that we disagree that it’s just a Bron/Steph thing though . Half of these Lakers fans haven’t even liked Bron until the last few years. But that definitely plays a part in it for sure, but there’s so much more than that which I’ve talked about earlier. Light years, the front running, etc. It’s more than you try to minimize it to too.

See, I’m not saying just that tho....I mean obviously the light years **** and popping **** is naturally going to play a part in it. But Steph “uniquely” is the player most accomplished, who people really feel isn’t “that”. And this goes back to what I’ve always said as it being a combination of a number of things... Really unique to him...that causes people to never fully be able to recognize the talent and player that he is. And always looking for validation on their suspicions that he really isn’t the type of player “worthy” of even being considered a top 10-20 ish player...and at his peak...one of the 3 or so elite guys in the league. Hell, or even a top 5ish pg of all time etc.

I don’t care either way. The warriors as a franchise getting their cheeks clapped makes me very happy in my pants

Using this as your validation for Steph not being an “all around player”

I been peeped this what you on lol. #JustAShooter talk.

I never said he's just a shooter but he's not a good defender. He's a good passer but he's too careless and turns the ball.

You holding on to that 50 wins?

I remember you saying that, or alluding to it :lol. Nobody ever disputed he’s careless with the ball. He been above average on defense for his peak. Team defense >>. Every player has weaknesses man. All of them. I suggest y’all watch that thinking basketball, peak series. Does a great job pretty much discussing what we’re saying for players in their primes, their strengths weakness and impact. Steph is going to be on there soon. Magic one was great.

50? ProllyNah. But I expect them to be competitive and a playoff team if things go right and they figure it out. They got some adjusting to do, and Steph gotta play better.

5 games into a 72 game season. Which has already been WACKY. We will see.

The framing is incredibly off. And you know it. Very few posters in here on the “other side” have absolutely any nuance when discussing Steph. The talk is...great player, great shooter...but not “that”, and only reason he’s good is because of the talent put around him.I know you got yours blinders on my guy...but you see it.
Nah I absolutely see it for what it is. There is a contingent who just doesn’t like the dude and will discredit him at any step. Just like we see with other polarizing players like Bron, KD and Harden. But most of that is just noise and people not worth engaging with when you see where they’re going with it .

I’m just waiting for Kerr’s coaching greatness to shine through. He should just tell them to share the ball and play with happiness or whatever ******** he was feeding reporters

We’re saying the same thing essentially. I just don’t think the critique is as unique as you. Dudes are always looking to discredit players they don’t like — you included . I just don’t think it’s worth it even giving credence to people who are saying that he isn’t THAT. The accolades speak for themselves. If people can’t even acknowledge that then you already know what time it is and don’t even need to engage. And I think that’s a lot smaller number of people than you do. Steph is one of the most popular players in the league.

Nah, all I did was point out his flaws. He needs a team is good to great defenders around him so he can hide.
