I remember years ago when he was drafted Beasley almost got side swiped by a truck. I think it was a ESPN special on him.

One observation, before D'Lo/Luka/Trae came into the league, Harden/Wall/LeBron were the only ones that could make the cross court pass to the corner consistently. Now it's almost a prerequisite if you are a high usage, high volume offensive player.I hope this Wall-Harden combo works.
There are only so many stars you can play with before eventually pointing the finger at yourself.

Him and CP3 worked. 2 WCFs against a dynasty. Only in Ringzz culture does that constitute not working, IMO.I hope this Wall-Harden combo works.

I remember that . I wish they still did those Rookie specials.I remember years ago when he was drafted Beasley almost got side swiped by a truck. I think it was a ESPN special on him.
Found it, almost got hit by a damn bus.I remember that . I wish they still did those Rookie specials.
Man...the **** I was hearing about Mike from pre-draft throughout the summer
I knew **** was going to go left
They had success because when those two were on the floor it was basically two different systems operating simultaneously. CP3 himself said Harden was disinterested when the ball wasn't in his hands. Essentially it was CP3 and 3 other guys doing what they did to help the team win while Jim did his iso thing to try to get the team win. Now that I think about that it's fascinating they were able to get the #1 seed with that much toxicity on the floor.Him and CP3 worked. 2 WCFs against a dynasty. Would you consider Myrie a ceiling raiser well? Kind of falls in the same category. Couldn’t do it by himself in Cleveland. When paired with other above avg players and the GOAT floor raiser it’s a championship level team.Sounds about right. I think I posed who are the greatest level ceiling raisers awhile back. Perhaps Curry is the true GOAT ceiling raiser.
Kyrie's play definitely rises during the playoffs. The one on one play is highly valuable when opposing teams scheme against his teams.Would you consider Myrie a ceiling raiser well? my bad. But I don’t think being a ceiling raiser is limiting. Leading a team to 73 wins is a ridiculous ceiling. I see what you’re saying though, it’s not a perfect explanation. Also feel like you can’t limit Steph to being a ceiling raiser when he won a title as the best player, won 2 MVPs and lead a team to 73 wins.
dacomeup you about to open the flood gates for the meme team
Thread was good but the post I didn’t like was the comparison to Lebby, KD and Trae. While it’s true they can create lots of shots for themselves and teammates, all three are on significantly better teams that Steph.
For example - when the Hawks were sus last year, Trae averaged 29/4/9 on 44/36/86 but they were 20-47 (.299). This year Steph on a worse team Steph is on 26/5/7 on 42/32/100. It’s not unreasonable that he could lead his worst team to a similar or better win percentage.
I agree with Lebby and KD but I can’t agree with Trae being in that floor raising category with them when accounting for context.
