Speaking of HOF, there was a question of Blake getting in earlier. Mitch and Blake have very very similar accolades

Weirdly similar. Both have Three 2nd Team All NBA and Two 3rd Team All NBA, both 6 time All Star. Both ROY and First Rookie team. Both First team NCAA. Mitch has Gold and Blake doesn't. Mitch has that donated ring Blake doesn't

I was somewhat shocked at the the points. Mitch in 14 seasons (976 games) has over 20K while Blake in 12 seasons (634 games) has under 14K

Luis Scola prob getting in

so imo it be weird to have a hall of fame with Mitch Richmond and Luis Scola and not Blake

when Blake was better than both of them

Yep. Assuming he doesn’t add anything significant to his resume, I don’t think BG gets in. You’ve just summed up that he currently comes in under the Mitch Richmond standard.

Luguentz used all the tweets, disrespect and Harden block to fuel him in the short off-season. I have to take my hat off to the man, he’s proving a lot of folks wrong, including myself.

This is why I said my initial gut reaction was nah. He’ll have the averages and the accolades of a HOFer but he has missed so many games that he won’t have the raw totals. FWIW, I have LMA getting in 🤷‍♂️

Edit: We got Pau as a lock, right? I think this was an actual debate in here so I just want to clarify

i stop taking it seriously. Seems like they just purely look at numbers for a guy who was never ever part of a good winning team to get in
I mean can you acknowledge what you just described happens at a VERY low percentage of the time when you consider ALL entrants?

Drummond might be the guy were in i draw the line if he gets in the HOF
This keeps coming up on here and I have no idea why anyone thinks Andre Drummond would be a HoFer. Seriously.

There was a discussion about this during the Pandemic Hiatus and I had time that day so I did a little breakdown. I can’t quote the post since the thread is locked but here was my analysis from April 12, 2020 (which I still stand by):

I had to look up Drummond’s resume and he’s a 2X AS, 1 All-NBA 3rd team, 3X Rebounding Champ and Rising Stars Challenge Game MVP. The only way making the HOF is possible is if the committee severely overweighs his rebounding numbers. He’s going to be 27 in August and is currently 64th on the rebounding list with ~8300 and seems to be extremely healthy with the exception of last season.

He needs ~1K rebounds to crack T50, ~3300 to crack T25, ~6300 to crack T10, ~8000 for T5 and for ****s and giggles...15600 to crack Wilt. Top 5 to 10 is actually doable but I only see him getting there if he continues to play in trash cities on poor teams where he can be a looter in the riot. I don’t see this being enough to get him in there nor do I imagine any of us ever telling our kids or grandkids “You want to know how to box out and get rebounds? You better watch some Andre Drummond tape from back in those mid-2010s Pistons Days! Boy could he clean the glass!!”

I may be way off base on this one but it seems unlikely at best.

Ben was the 4th best player on the floor last night. He stepped up in the last few minutes but he was mostly invisible for the rest of the game. Embiid was dominant and Tobias couldn't miss.

all you worried about is points. Lolol

thats cool

efficiency all day over taking 15+ shots like some of these other guys. Dont forget his 11 assist my guy

hes a ball player first not a scorer. We have others to score not sure how many times i gotta say it but all good youll understand it one day
Remember, you are arguing with a man that said John Stockton was the most overrated PG that ever lived because he didn't shoot more. :nerd:

He will likely always be in bad teams since none of the good teams will pay him. So he will probably get a ton of boards

Yea, he was seen as one of the best 15 players in the league once in his entire career . It’s really a non-starter, IMO.

For sure which was my point and I looked it up: everyone in the Top 20 Rebounds of All-Time is in the HOF except for Da White Howard (and he’ll get there). I think Drummond would absolutely have to be the exception.

Is there parallel universe that I never lived in? When the hell was he considered Top 15?

I’m saying if you subscribe by the logic that the All-NBA teams are the Top 15 guys. I guess the better way to look at it is that he was considered Top 3 at his position once in his career.
