I'll tell you this much, I relaced my Wimbledons, and you'd be surprised how much of a difference it makes when you put that lace lock 2 notches lower. Totally changes the look and I love it.

Peace,
J

The laces aren't that bad honestly yall kinda over exaggerating .. It's only hard at the top 2 and bottom 2 at least for me that's where it sucked n hurt my finger tips

Not sure what he meant exactly as I couldn't see what the lady was doing.  You can hit groundstrokes (assuming she was hitting a groundstroke) with your feet planted as well as with a bit of lift... depending on the situation.

If you're serious about getting into it, I'd highly recommend finding a coach or hitting with someone who knows what they're doing.  I've seen beginner/novice players play each other and they had the worst time ever.  Spent most of the time picking up tennis balls and picking up bad habits.

He said that because she's completely off-balance. If she kept her feet on the ground, she could drive into the ball. By lifting her back foot up she's losing a ton of power on the shot. It could also cause the shoulders to fly open too soon and the shot might not go where you want it. But you're taught to step into the ball so it's defnitely a bad habit. It looks like she is compensating for more top spin by lifting the back foot to try to get under the ball. The back foot has to be planted and hers is going backwards. Watch Andre's back foot, it's always planted even if the front one is moving. His momentum is going forward as he squares up to the ball.

I love the Hot Lava. I picked up my first pair for $89.99 and I just picked up my second for $29.99 had a special $50 off coupon from DTLR.

I appreciate the insight. I think I found my " coach"  below

This is the same with golf weight transfer, balance, pronation, supination but the major difference is your not running like in tennis

I was on Nike Find earlier searching for some Blazers and I asked the rep about the blue suedes for the hell of it. She had no info on them...

I don't even know if they were officially released and if they were they must have been a Chinese exclusive (not Asian), because I've had connects in Seoul and Tokyo on the lookout for these and they've seen nothing. The only place I've seen them is taobao. Is it possible that Nike cancelled them and the factories just went into production with whatever materials they already had? Or were these on retail shelves in China?

Having watched that vid again, I agree that she did look off-balance, but from that vid, I think she might still be a better player than that other guy.  His strokes just looked so awkward.  On his back-foot as well and at times, his FH was "all-arm"... Plus AA's comment on "1 hand or 2?" presumably about his BH...

I think Nike stopped production liked you said  and what was left was sold on taobao
