🎾 OFFICIAL AGASSI RETRO THREAD 🎾

LMAO you gotta be trolling. They're not selling because they're trash color ways. The general public is not interested in those schemes.

General public is not really interested in this shoe in general, which is fine by me. Every colorway can be had for way under retail minus sp's

Turbo Greens are dope. I kinda like them more than the Lavas.

It's a nice shoe design but Nike as a business should have been able to accurately predict that these would be flops. $40 is still a profit to Nike. I guess they feel like the $40 resellers in real life.

They probably made tons of every CW which is a good thing. They end up being on discount. Just like how everything else works out in the sneaker game. If it's limited it will sell out. If it's GR they will have plenty to go around.

If Nike wanted this shoe to be "hot", they didn't do that by dropping waaaaay too many cw's over the past year and flooding the market with them.  Bad for resellers, good for those of us who actually enjoy the shoe.  I think Nike wanted to basically empty the vault on the ATC2 and let the enthusiasts enjoy it.

My only fear is that they abandon the silhouette for now because it wasn´t a huge cash cow. I love the shoe and wouldn´t mind seeing some more concepts and colors executed on them like they started with the suedes.

whoa whoa def not trash

and just because you see them getting the deep discount treatment doesnt mean they didnt sell well. No one on here works for Nike and can pull some numbers out.

For all we know Nike could have produced 200k of these and the last 25k is what we are seeing get discounted at the outlets

same goes for Jordan, while 99% of NT rocks retros .. JB prob makes more money off those flights than they do retros and those flights are always available in every store. I know for a fact thats the case here where i live

just sayin

Plus most of the discounting has been through retailers anyway, who still are in the black with 30-40% off - they're just clearing stock. The only Agassi's Nike proper sold super cheap were the huaraches.

Overall this run has been a win for both Nike and Tech challenge fans and a loss for resellers. That's how it always should be in my book.

I wouldnt say there trash... While Im not a fan of TB Ive seen some nice on-feet shots of them and Kumquats I think are  just as nice as any of the Slams I own.. I wear them a lot

I really like the kumquat cw. If my outlet has em at that price I would double up easily. The only problem I have with the turbos is that every single pair I have seen in person look poorly made. The paint is sloppily put on and misaligned, panels and wings are misaligned, random scuff marks, toe box is dented.
Almost like they were going for a played in look.

Thanks to one of my fellow NT'ers I just ordered 3 pairs of the Kumquats for 44.97 each from the Chicago outlet. These are some beautiful kicks. Now i'm just waiting on the Turbo greens to go down a little bit more in price before I pull the trigger on them.

I don't think these are good for tennis. I am not such a leather shoe fan tbh. I think the best tennis shoes come from new balance.

Can't really compare these w/ current-day New Balance tennis shoes though.

Is $175ish shipped a decent price for the Wimbledon SP joints? I'm seeing a grip of sellers asking $225-$250, but their pairs are also sitting. Thinking about shooting an offer but I don't want to lowball someone.

Also, I searched this thread but couldn't really find a definitive answer, but do the SPs run any different than the GR ATCIIs? I only ask because I've had other Nikes made out of "premium" materials that seemed to fit bigger.

Any help is appreciated, good sirs. Thx.
