🎾 OFFICIAL AGASSI RETRO THREAD 🎾

It was pure reseller for me. To help out some of my friends, and take my family away.

agreed :lol I would have honestly used it to finally pick up a few pairs of the shoes ive been wanting, save like another 1k, and use the rest for a trip to NYC for the US open :lol

But to get back on topic, my second pair of 2014 lavas gets in today. :smokin

I managed to get them red shoes. Of course thinking of selling them to do some sensible things (paying debts, taking family away) with and trying to get us open,s but I'm hearing so many warnings about cc charge backs and pay pal reversals that I'm not sure what to do with them now.

yea, I wouldnt sell them via ebay or paypal invoice. Buyer has way more protections then seller. If you find someone in your region willing to do a meet up at a secured location, that would be your best bet in terms of your net profit.

cosignment shops and stores that do buybacks will be less hassle but the advantage you wont have to find a buyer. of course downside is it cuts into your net profit cause they will be looking to resell it (buyback) or take a percentage of the assigned value (cosignment)

:hat now if only you can use some of your profits to buy me a ticket to wimbledon :Nthat

britkicks britkicks thats an option, keep in mind that no one would be carrying the asking price for the shoes with them. but its certainly an option to try to find a buyer at the event and arrange to make the deal in a secured spot . i.e police station, etc.

just be wary of your surroudings...Not sure how it's like in the UK but there are a fair amount of robbery scams done through craigslist meet ups here in the US. Not all craigslist meet up are scams but it happens.

Not to derail the thread so if you have any askings feel free to shoot me a pm or post in that thread. I'm sure some are in a similar situation as you and can offer their insights :smokin

No joke my mother was talking to me the other day and when she saw my Lavas she said to me, "a two tone blue with light blue on the swoosh and a darker blue to contract would look good." She got it mostly right.

For those who have the Wimbledon's, USO's & Oz's... do they all have the same shape on the upper?  And are they more like the 08's or the 14's?  Just curious.

The leather is much thicker and softer on the slams, so they appear a bit chunkier than the '14 Lava/Clay. Not in an '08 way though. The toe box area definitely isn't as narrow and as pointy, but they seem to fit the same. It's kinda hard to explain it. I prefer the look of the slams myself.
