🎾 OFFICIAL AGASSI RETRO THREAD 🎾

Like many in here I had zero patience and overpaid for my pair, however this was my must have shoe for 2024. I panicked because two of my local spots that always get releases like this did not receive a single pair which made me think these would be super limited. Even with the prices tanking I am not mad about how much I paid over for my pair, it is what it is.

What I am mad about is how long I waited to wear them. I had every intention of putting these straight to feet but my resell pair took forever to arrive. They showed up just as I was walking out the door for a long trip and I didn't even open them until after I got back, then they just sat in the closet until this weekend. That's all on me, lesson learned.

Once I wore them though all that was forgotten. These shoes are worth every penny I paid. Hands down these are the most comfortable Nike retro I have ever worn. I only wore them for about 4 hours, but they felt like they would be something I could wear all day everyday. I now plan on beating this shoe into the ground and with the way prices are going I can double up with zero hesitation. I had no interest in the upcoming Racer Pinks and I still have no intention of copping those at retail, but based on the resell prices currently on the Lavas, those pinks are going to go well under retail quickly after the release. I foresee getting those for $100 all in before spring

The quality on these is great too, especially for a $150 retro. It blows my mind that Nike only charged $150 for these yet an AJ4 retails at $215. It just shows that the only reason for the upcharge on JB shoes is that they know people will pay it. IMO the quality on these is much better than the AJ4 Military Blues and the "reimagined" BC4s. If anything I would bet that it cost Nike more per unit to produce these ATC IIs than it does an AJ4. Even the hang tag on the ATC IIs is better

If the Sneaker Community were to look at the ATC IIs objectively they would hands down be Sneaker of the Year.....but we all know that won't happen

Bruh I was happy because I paid $240 out the door. Had I waited a week or so I would have saved some money. Crazy how far the prices fell.

I'm with the folks who said fake resellers were trying to dump to free up money before the holidays. All it takes is a couple to start dropping prices and the pyramid usually crumbles.

Let 'em keep falling back down to reality. Still not paying a penny over retail for any sneaker. If they don't, I'll keep on keepin' on.

😢😢 My #1 sneaker grail of all time!! Right there on the left!!😢😢😢 That shoe, in those colors, are just 🔥🔥🔥

And it makes me horribly sad 😞😞😞 as I know we will NEVER get them! 😫😫

Like I've mentioned MANY TIMES, I would take a retro WITH a visible air midsole, if it meant Nike would release it to save on retooling costs (though I can't imagine it would cost much to remove the part of the mold that keeps the window). And I just say to use the II midsole if it speeds up the process to release them! All I say is, Nike, give us what we want!! 🙏🙏🙏

StockX order coming from Japan. Been about 8 years since I last used StockX. Thought they were located in Detroit. So either they didn’t sell in Japan, went on sale, allowing buyers to make some profit by selling close to retail. Or I’m bout to get got by StockX special factory.

You are fine. StockX does have its headquarters in Detroit but now has verification centers all over the world including Tokyo. Resellers are the same in every part of the world, and for most it comes to a point they may need to unload shoes at a loss rather than have that capital tied up in inventory that they will never be able to sell at a gain. Bad for them.....good for you

Verification Centers

USA
  • Detroit, MI
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Moonachie, NJ
  • NYC, NY
  • Tempe, AZ

International
  • Eindhoven, NE
  • London, GB
  • Hong Kong, CN
  • Seoul, KR
  • Toronto, CA
  • Tokyo, JP

Yup...some of the best deals for me have come from international sellers on SX.

Even the cardboard shipping boxes they use in Europe and Asia are better than what the American centers use
