that model was retroed ages ago, back then nobody wanted them
and they got degraded to outlet material in a very soon time
we need something new like the IVs, what will put the ATC line once and for all on the map
and making a furious comeback as hot as a flaming tennisball

In fairness, that was one of the worst Retro executions of all time - and with Nike, that's really saying something!!! I got both the sonics and purps for less than $60 combined.

yeah as much as I want the ATCIII's, they REALLY botched up that retro. That halfassed tennis ball they put on the back was turrible, and it made me pass. Â Now that Agassi's back, hopefully they'll put the right ball on it. Â

A lot of people called them "ginger" cuz of this ad. Â Most saw the ATC IV side, but not the Supreme Court side. Â Ginger & Mary Ann (as confirmed by NTer, Rich) was a Gilligan's Island reference. Â

The official c/w back then was black/white/turquoise/marina.
Ginger... for me, these are ginger... the off-white bits on the upper.Â

That's definitely the old retro and you can tell the burning ball logo isn't on it. It never made sense why Nike didn't put the burning ball back on them even though they didn't sign Agassi back then. They were still selling the shirts with the logo on it and the ATC 1 shirts.

No way. The tech challenge III retro was real bad which is why it sold so poorly. If nike did it true to the original with all the details and original color blocking they would sell quick. The Tech II and Tech III were hands down the two most popular models in the tech challlenge series. Followed by the IV and then the first tech challenge. Everything after that while dope was never as popular as any of those shoes.
