🎾 OFFICIAL AGASSI RETRO THREAD 🎾

Hey guys, been reading up on the ATC 2s. What seems to be a fair price for the Australian Opens? Been trying to hunt down a pair but I've seen them range from 200-400 on ebay. Any advice would be appreciated!

We'll wait & see I guess.....but if it does turn out that they drop at NDC ya'll gonna be very salty after talkin such big talk :rollin

We won't be salty, because we'll all likely score our pairs for retail. We're not talking big either. All assumption is based on the previous releases and good old fashion logic. We like to keep it real in here.

Of course, should this drop be totally different from the others, then it'll give us more to talk about. All good.

I hope u right J0e. Pickin up at retail is the only effort im putting in by any means though (online)

Wish I could get my hands on US Opens though

Yea they just see the name "air tech challenge 2" and assume it's w.e cw is coming out that day.  It's most likely the Kumquats that tweet is referring to if I had to guess although I could be horribly wrong you never know.

I still can't get over how Nike does us dirty over here in the US with these slams. Their mentality: "Let's release high quality versions of possibly the most iconic tennis shoe from an american tennis hero at select EU spots and not give the US even a wiff unless you live at 21mercer."

New Yorkers have it too easy man. :{

But they go through this in Australia all the time. Not so much Europe. Europe has its own exclusives but I like the American exclusives better. I dont think europe gets the Doernbecher series

If it was up to me, I'd have released all four models in all regions. Keep them TZ or whatever, but not having to have dedicated Agassi fans having to trawl the Intertronz, and find connects to get them.

In fact, they could have just been QS. Court Victory's were the Reebok equivalent, which is "Limited Release", and the quality on those is easily on par with the SP's.

We definitely don't have DB's over here. We don't even get certain J's. We DO get a ****load of Hua and Air Max that you don't though. Unfortunately this isn't perfect for me, as I'm US-centric in my footwear.

When I am chillin in London I can usually get the Jordans I missed out on. They'll just be sitting on shelves for months. Restocked Huaraches would be gone in a matter of seconds. Westfield mall is literally a 7 min walk from my house and the Huaraches sold out in the time it took me to walk there. So it makes sense it is like that.

I am tryna get into runners but UK gets a lot of the ones I want

Stratford or Shepherd's Bush? Next time you're in town hit me up, and we can hit some stores and maybe a sports bar.

So...I'm hearing from my source (DON'T ask LOL) that 1948 may well have a FSR on the FRA. That'll certainly make things easier for me as they won't impose a one pair per customer on me.

Wow, so glad I found this thread.  Brings back fond memories of my youth when I tried buying everything Nike - Agassi related...or as much as I could afford on a high school budget.

Although my shoes were likely discarded long ago, I'm pretty certain I still have a couple of the Air Tech Challenge lava polos somewhere in storage along with some posters and headbands.

I'm going to try and sole swap some Burst with an AT1 midsole. Those pics from earlier got me thinking. I've sent my customs guy a text and he said he'd be up for trying. I can get a fresh pair of Burst for £60, and those low Safari 1's will be hitting discount anytime now. Hopefully I can pull it off.

It's really not a problem. Some of you guys need to 4/4, and others just want to own a pair of SP's. I'm quite sure any of you would be willing to help me had it been a US-only shoe.

As in...Nike1948?   Dangit lol.....too bad they don't ship to US for a release like this (I assume).
