Is a much better question than the original one...

Kellen Moore is 26-1 as a starter. damn

He is gonna crush that wins record if he stays and is healthy. That's ridiculous. You can talk about his comp or whatever but that dude is just a winner.

You an alum DLo?

I wish the football program was up and running when I was still there.

Yessir.

Can't wait for 9/2/10...

Say what you want about about Craig Krenzel but they don't beat Miami without his scrambling ability. He was definitely a reason they won.

He's a major reason. But not the reason.

No way in hell was Krenzel worse than McElroy. Krenzel mad plays all year for that team time after time when they really needed them.

The OT Illinois game and the game winning Purdue 4th down TD throw ("Holy Buckeye!") to Jenkins comes to mind right away...

I know. That why I said

He was definitely a reason they won.

Dude was a "game manager" just like McElroy. He only threw 12 Tds the whole year. True he could scramble but he had limited abilities as a passer.

Clarrett and their D was the reason they won it that year.

Nothing will ever forgive that Pass Interference call. Ever.

Wait? Is the argument that McElroy is better than Krenzel because "Miami really won/*" or because you're being serious?

Either way, McElroy hasn't made a play 1/10 as clutch as this in his lifetime (I have NO idea why I'm going to bat for a Buckeye

No. We both agree McEleroy is worse, we just are both whining about that Miami game. Krenzel did work in that game.
Spoiler [+]
By the way, McEleroy=MacElory.

Everyone pretty much covered the McElroy/Krenzel debate but just to throw in my two cents the comparison is unwarranted. McElroy literally did nothing toimpact or win last night's game. It was 100% about Ingram, Richardson, the O-line, and defense obviously. He threw what, less than 10 passes? So hedidn't need to throw much - ok that's fine but if he did I guarantee that Texas D feasts on McElroy and forces some turnovers. They were gettingpressure/sacks all game (Kindle, Houston, etc.).

Krenzel was clutch over and over the NC year. He made plays when it mattered with games on the line (against Purdue to Jenkins). He's no Matt Leinart, andI understand the "game manager" label but Krenzel's nowhere near Greg McElroy status.

Pete Carroll is officially gone from the college ranks.

But this better not be one of those Billy Donovan/ORL Magic type situations.

what is goin on.

I go onto my phone to see some PC talk and all I see is a McElroy vs Krenzel debate?

Krenzel started some games in the League for the Bears. McElroy wont sniff the NFL unless Jerry Jones signs him as a gift to his dad who works for Dallas.

IF PC leaves USC will Prater, Woods, Baxter and other commits bolt?
