I rather the employees slave away at raffle tickets for days on end then bots win.

sad to say but I now think of bots as almost a necessary evil. I used to win RSVPs manually but once bots showed up, I obviously took L's. I paid and won using RSVP services for some limited shoes and I was fine with that. It freed up my time during the day - you'd read on here about guys having a hard time eating lunch or going to the bathroom for fear of missing the RSVP tweet. I mean my time is more valuable than a $50 RSVP service fee. I live approx 1hr from my local Niketown so I'd rather not spend the time to go down there to signup for an in-store raffle and a chance at winning - not a great tradeoff IMO

you mention that you'd rather have employees handle an in-store raffle. thats some shaky ground IMO. who's to say whats legitimate and fair. believe me, I used to work at FootLocker and them raffles aren't exactly fair. there were stacks of employee holds and hookups for homies. theres no transparency if a raffle drawing isn't filmed and shown to all entrants

I've heard NikeTown employees saying that this could be an option for the future.  NDC trying to figure out a way to keep the entries to a one per household limit.  Don't know how that would be accomplished though; maybe require entries to have a NDC account along with completed shipping AND billing address in order for the raffle entry to be accepted and valid. (NT Chicago supposedly tried implementing the one per household rule for the Black Infrared 6 raffles).

Yeah at my local NT they were entering all information into their laptop. One guy was reading out name + address from my license and the other was typing it into a spreadsheet.
