12/2014 Air Jordan 11 Retro - White/Black-Legend Blue - 378037-117 NO GM TALK ALLOWED!

Has anyone tried using a fake ID to get more raffle tickets? I assume as long as you pay in cash this would work if you won.

. Exactly, I understand people want the sneaker but honestly anything over 10 tickets from your local stores is just outrageous. If you win more than one pair youre taking away from a person who may have not gotten a call back. Anybody with a ridiculous amount of raffles is just as much to blame as the employees who secure pairs for family, friends, & profit. You both are rigging the raffle

Not necessarily you're still getting one ticket in multiple raffles. Still less than at 1% chance in each raffle.

Quick story. At 1am this morning, I drove 2hrs out of town to a neighboring city to try and get guaranteed tickets. Finishline was giving them out at 7, we were to line up at 6am. There was a turn out of 600 people for less than 200 shoes. The police formed a crappy line. Everybody started pushing and the cops let loose with the mace. It was a stampede and I felt like Simba. I hit the deck and nearly vomited. My face was on fire and my lips were numb. This one chick actually was vomiting. I get a footprint on my hat from getting my head stepped on. I cover up my face and jump back in line. Cops let off again and started macing. I try to run and fall off the curb and twist my ankle. They ended up closing down the event altogether and made everybody leave.

About 100 of us were smart enough to understand they just wanted to thin out the large crowd so we waited. Cops let us line up again. I was like #6. Got pushed back to about #45:{ . Long story short, I got my guaranteed ticket for a size 12.

Absolute madness...

SHEEEEEEEEEEESH! Damn fam :{ .. Was it worth it? Didn't you just drive around and pick up about 30 raffle tickets the day before tho? 8o

i would guess many stores are gonna make calls today simply because they are ready to get it over and done with. I know simply from the one day raffle on monday i was ready to stop taking calls and handing out tickets. All i know is congrats to those who have had the odds ever in their favor and got their pair locked down yesterday. And good luck to all of us who are waiting on that call, hopefully only a small portion of us need to even worry about a plan b.

This is why I'll pay resale if I really want a sneaker

Pepperspray, arresting etc. My fnl shutdown fcfs and doing raffle tomorrow 12 to 6. Which they was suppose to do in the first place. Dont even kmow if JJ did their raffle. I left.

I just spoke to my little sister and her boyfriend works at a Finishline. He told her they have about 200 pairs....They did the raffle like everyone else as well. It seems as if most locations are getting a decent number of sneakers but the demand is still greater as we all expected.

I'm really wondering how many deaths this release is going to lead to if the raffles are causing so much craziness...

I have mixed feelings about the "family reunion" approach to raffles. Statistically speaking, it's way better odds to have 10+ tickets in one rraffle than it is to shotgun every store within 100 miles with one ticket each.

I'd take a single 50%-60% chance at one store over a 3-5% chance at 15 stores. Just my opinion. Can't knock the hustle though.

. I understand what you mean but im simply stating that you are rigging the raffle to give yourself a better chance by obtaining 10 tickets at one location. Myself and others are obtaining one ticket per location & are not given a fair chance at obtaining the SINGLE pair we want because of the greed driven individuals who rig raffles.

Yeah I read what you said wrong.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for getting something you like but this to me is CRAZY. I'm not running, getting stomped on for ANYTHING of materialistic value. So now you've risked possible medical bills for a $200 shoe...I hope they're worth it. That situation could've easily turned worse than your story. Glad you're ok though but it can't be this serious.

Wait until Saturday, Nike better start marking Air Jordan Retro XI Legend Blue body bags... This release is legit looking scary in some places.

If you want a fair chance at getting your kicks in a raffle bring more people, how do you know those people getting 10+ tickets aren't trying to better their chances for one pair? You don't, your'e just assuming and complaining for the lack of work you're putting in.

I already know. I live in the DMV area and if I remember correctly a pair of Foams were released and they went HAM. Breaking the doors, trying to get in thru the roof. If you're really "bout that life" pay the extra money for the presale because if you don't all that extra is going to make these the most expensive sneakers you'll never get to wear. You'll be in jail. I'll do a raffle but I'm not camping out. I work M-F 730-430 and my schedule and sanity won't let me camp out. Not knocking anyone else but I'm not about the camp out life.A youngin was robbed for his Infareds at the metro. I'm fully aware of the chaos that's about to take place. Unfortunately I'm not surprised.

I remember the concord FCFS madness. They switched to raffles and it ain't getting better.

Honestly, if this release gets some really bad press for Nike (murders, robberies, etc.), I can TOTALLY see them going the "online only" route for XI releases in the future.

Just called my Champs and they've switched it up. When I got the ticket they were calling today between 10-11. Now its we're not sure today or tomorrow.

Called FTL and she said they're calling between 3-4 which is what I was told when I got my ticket.

It's your mindset that is corrupted. Please don't be offended but listen to what you're saying. If everyone got 1 raffle ticket as should we all would have the same chance at obtaining our shoes ( without factoring in the corrupt employees ). But when one or more people obtain multiple tickets they've rigged the raffle in their favor. Only greed would drive you to do this. If the people with multiple winning tickets sell their shoes they most likely sell for over retail but even if they don't who would they sell retail to? The answer is family and friends. So either way you look at it they're just as bad as the corrupt employees. On another note if you look at the people who win multiple pairs that never claim their pairs, they create the lurkers who are waiting in a dangerous game on Saturday morning or the store employee holds that pair for resale. So either way you look at it my friend it pays to have a little common courtesy
