Texas junior day nets zero commits? When was the last time that happened?

They'll probably get Jake Oliver and a couple others later this week, but their Rivals and 247 guys went into the weekend expecting several commits on the spot. They had at least 3 guys back out of coming at the last minute, and it sounds like people think Swoopes is more interested in TCU than anybody thought.

could be a number of factors now.

a&m's power move to the sec could have kods holding back...

the last two years of longhorns mediocrity...

mack brown...

thats a bad sign imo

Hope Oliver isn't a Longhorn, kid is nice.

Thought Arkansas would get a commit out of Chase Abbington and Christian Morgan this past weekend, but the offers have started rolling in for him. Still the leader for botth though.

Tons of talent in this 2013 class early

+ the rise of TCU and Okie St

Keith Ford is likely gonna leave the state as well, though he isn't a native Texan.

'13 DB Michael Johnson (Miami, FL) verbally committed to FSU. Committed to the staff on Thurs when he got his offer (Ice tweeted about it), backed off the commitment until he spoke with his family, and officially announced it today.

The rise of OK State isn't affecting Texas, but TCU is becoming more and more of a player every year. TCU's rise had been affecting Texas Tech, OK State, and Baylor the most, but they're going to start getting more kids that TAMU, OU, and UT offer. OU is starting to lose its stranglehold on the DFW area as well, which is great news for TAMU (since we've been really weak recruiting there for a long time).

A lot of people thought Swoopes was a lock to commit to Mack this past weekend, but now people are saying that he's a TCU lean.

And Oliver will be a Longhorn, Sork. It sucks because his dad was an Aggie, and you'd think he'd be excited about Sumlin's offense.
