20 Things I Wish I’d Known When I Was 30: Life Lessons with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

#2 stands out. I'm 21, and found out only recently that before I was born, my mother had a miscarriage. In no way am I mad at my parents for only telling me recently, or telling me at all for that matter. It's just real interesting to think how I would be a completely different person had I have an older brother/sister in my life..
Had a similar realization when I found out my mother aborted her first child.

I definitely need to ask more about my family history, stop being so quick to judge, and not always having to be right. I'm glad I stuck with playing piano though, hated it when I was younger but now I constantly thank my mom for not letting me quit. Great article OP

kareem was always kind of brat on court but he grew up to be a pretty respectable dude...

it's all good advice. thanks for posting OP

Its nothing we all haven't heard before but its nice to hear it from a respectable individual. What good is this advice if we don't actually use them? Remember its not about following every single advice but choose the ones that will most benefit you.
