Pavlik went down and took the standing 8. Taylor was sitting there taking the punishment, he would have been smart to go down to one knee, and take the count and then try to get back up.

Pavlik got rocked with just as many shots as Jermain did, Taylor was in the corner and the ropes were holding him up, by the time he went down, the ref stopped the fight and didn't give him the opportunity to get up.

I knew there'd be a post on NT.

My thoughts: For a while now, since noticing Taylor's fights, he didn't seem to have it all, like a real killer instinct. Yea, yea, he's got 17 knockouts, but even so, I didn't see it there.

The right move for Taylor would be to have a Taylor v Pavlik II somewhere down the line.

Starbury is headed to Italy in a few. Now we need a more youthier PG.​

Wow at those scores. I had taylor up 1, all the judges had taylor up 3 points.

Dude taylor needs to learn to keep his left hand up and dude had him in the 2nd but dude couldnt throw any more punches. I was wondering what the hell he was doing when they both clinched and he wasnt tryna get him off.

Taylor wasn't getting up after that, dude sat him and that was it for him.

And dam this N' face leant.

Pavlik controlled the whole fight, Jermain had no respect for him, all he did was counter-punch. Jermain knocked down Pavlik in the 2nd with a flurry of shots, Pavlik got up and got rocked some more but survived the round. Pavlik controlled most of hte rounds, Jermain only won one sure round, that was the 5th, then finally got knocked out.

EDIT: Pacquiao is going to kill MAB, I don't even know why he's fighting Barerra again.

and the corner/ropes was the only reason that it appeared taylor was still up....
he was honestly out a few punches before the ref actually stopped it- true story
