I like both of them. I don't think they'll be p4p type fighters, but i think both will win titles and maybe even a ring title at some point. I thinkLamont has the higher ceiling. He is the better technical boxer, and while Anthony is known as the power puncher, i think his power may be a bit overrated andmay have to become a Juan Diaz style fighter. Lamont's power i think is a little underrated and with his technical skills, i think he'll be a topfighter longer than his brother.

The Peterson's are nice , good mechanics very good fundamentals . Both had good AM careers . One is more of a Boxer and the other is more of a puncherwhich always seem to be the case in Brother combo's. Look for either one of them to fight in a elimination fight in under a year

Alot of boxing on tonight with the Telefutura card starting around 8 EST I believe. Definitely interested in seeing Vanes Martirosyan on that card. ShellyFinkel usually doesnt align himself with and manage chumps and from what I have seen and read he definitely has a bright future.

Considering his loss to Miranda, subsequent medical setbacks and the supper Middleweight division looking as if it could be one of the premier divisions in2008, interested to see how Allan Green looks tonight.
Jones takes time from fight training to work out with Knicks
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Roy Jones Jr. believes he is proof that the New York Knicks can recover from getting beat up.

"Look at me. My last three years was really, after I beat John Ruiz, it just went downhill for a minute," Jones said Friday. "That happens. But the true professionals come back through that. If you're a true professional you can battle back through that. That's when you find out what they're made of."

Jones took time from training for his Jan. 19 bout against Felix Trinidad at Madison Square Garden to join the Knicks for workouts at their training center.

"Shot was a little suspect, but nobody got close enough to him," Knicks coach Isiah Thomas said. "I don't think anybody wanted to challenge him for fear that he may punch him."

Jones has plenty of basketball experience having played in the USBL for the Jacksonville Barracudas. Following a game on June 15, 1996, he scored a technical knockout of Eric Lucas to defend his IBF super middleweight title later that night.

He showed his hardwood skills while going through some drills with the Knicks.

Thomas said it's always good to have someone from another sport come in to bring a different perspective. Asked what advice Jones had for the Knicks, Thomas said: "Hit the other guy before he hits you."

Jones said he offered more than that, reminding the last-place Knicks that his own tough times during losses to Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson prove that they can bounce back.

Jones wore a No. 4 practice jersey, which he said had special meaning.

"Tito must go in four," he said in reference to Trinidad.

Boxing took a loss tonight fellas Paulie just got licked for all but 4 rounds nearly got knocked out and looked terrible all night and the judges all had himwinning by unanimous decision one of which had it 116-111.

This just tells me how corrupt the sport can be as a boxing fan im really disappointed when a guy fights a great fight dominates and then has to hear the otherguy beat him clearly on score cards wat a joke

2008 starts with an awful judging decision

Sorta like the same judgement Ricky Hatton got over Collazo after he signed that deal with HBO ?

I agree gunna but I would say I think Calazo got robbed more Ricky hung on for his life that night Paulie didn't have to quite do that but wasnt far off.

He wants to fight Ricky next but to me a better fight would be Witter but thas not gonna be a big money fight but on the back of that performance why doesPaulie deserve a big money fight? Because he has a belt ? to me that dont wash he didn't fight like a champion tonight so who's gonna wanna stump upbig bucks.

As the 2 commentators said it was a robbery.

Peace

Was that the spanish kid w/ all the tattoo's and the white gloves (I think)????
If so, that was definitely a travesty....

Didn't get to see the fight (No Showtime) gonna catch it when it pops up online tomorrow. Did Ngoudjo really get robbed?

What's the source for that Hopkins-Calzaghe news? April seems kinda soon for a fight of this status, doesn't it? I would also hope that there is goingto be another edition of 24/7 to go along with it.

And what's the deal with De La Hoya? He claims to be fighting in May but I figured he'd announce who he'll be fighting by now. Mayweather/De LaHoya was confirmed in December...

Honestly, outside of Povetkin vs.Chambers & Klitschko vs. Ibragimov...HBO televised cards aren't looking so great right now.

I dont know if id call it a robbery but it was a close fight , granted i only saw rds 9-12 the jags-steelers game was great . but back to the fight Pauliewasnt doing a whole lot and Herman was pressing the action but wasnt going to the body enough but he was winning the rds on being aggressive and betterpunching , Paulie got away from the jab and the game plan in general . Oh and the fact that Buddy McGirt trained him you would have though he would lose lolBut it was close could have gone either way
