The one man devestated by this development is.. David Villa. Funny how the transfer window unravels. Months ago, I said Valencia could not afford to keep him. A month ago, I was absolutely certain that David Villa was going to grace Real Madrid's shirt. A week ago, I was sure he was going to be Barcelona's headline signing. Now, it appears hes "trapped" in Valencia.
Ironically, the two who wanted to leave - Villa and Silva remain but the true valencianista, Raul Albiol is the one who was sold.
