This shoe is a waste of good engineering. How well a shoe performs is obviously of paramount importance for a new flagship but it should take a back seat toaesthetic when we're talking about the Air Jordan line. Way to crap on the legacy once again.

fair enough. But if I were to look at both shoes (2009 & the XIV) objectively, I would say I liked the 2009 better. I never cared for the backof the XIV. I love the craftsmanship feel to the 2009. The threads 'holding down' certain pieces of leather has a nice handmade feel.

The shoe feels alot better than the 23's. Alot softer and lighter. No toe rubbing and very soft inside. The heal part of the shoe feels great. One of bestfitting shoes.

the price(GR MODEL) is only $5 more than the 23's(gr MODEL) and $10 less than the 17's, but to each his own

maybe some, every jordan and shoe for that matter i bought them because i like them not because of others, limitedness or hype.

Ah it never fails to amaze me.....

How every year "this shoe sucks", "looks like an And1/Weakbok/Adicrap rip off", "not at that price" turns into "wow""actually i'm warming up to these" "and copped x2"

These shoes havent grown on me. Fencing and satin on a shoe? That heel? That price point?

Still an easy no thanks to me and i could probably get them at half retail
