2010 College Basketball Season

I belive Coach Norman said they are pretty sure on having Kiefer next season, plus Gwyne & Mark Tallo Jr....they're forming 2nd Generation players IMO. Ael Banal wasn't mentioned though...

I think they're also getting Brian Organ...not sure though

^ Heard Ael Banal would be suiting up for the Bulldogs. Coach Joel's Relationship w/ MVP might have something to do with this.

I'm sure the kid wants good education, at the very least, so going to NU is just dumb. Hell, even entertaining the idea of going there is dumber.

actually I heard from an insider that Ael is considering NU also, plus 4 more Ateneo HS I think or 4 RP Youth U18.

DLSU is trying to get Kiefer back "daw" not sure though,

actually heard it first from bacon austria, then I found some threads on gameface regarding this issue.
anyway, it isn't really a surprise that National U has been steppin' up big time thanks to the Sy Family. If they can get Rayray, why not Ael?

I agree NU has been stepping up big time in terms of athletics. But education? C'mon son. Even the Sy great-grandchildren won't consider studying there.

Ray Parks went to the Philippines to hopefully get into the PBA someday. That's it. If that kid had an outside chance to play US NCAA ball, he wouldn't have even come here. That said, the kid will consider any option that will aid him in turning pro someday. He obviously can't go to the stacked teams because he won't get star status.

but Ael Banal? Dude will not even get to the PBA so he's better off getting his degree in a good school and perhaps get a good job after in the corporate world ala Ken Barracoso. but in case he is really considering NU for basketball and a college education... good luck to him. he'll need a lot of it.

 A lot of things are wrong. Players aren't happy with the sudden coaching change. Even their import (doing residency) wanted to transfer out. Further, the coaches aren't happy with management and how they treated former coach Aboy Castro. Another source of dissatisfaction? They haven't been paid for some months now.

Anyway, regarding Mikee Reyes, he has been absolutely atrocious in practice since the summer that's why they are reluctant to give him first team minutes at the point guard spot.
  
 
Another sorry loss for UP... You're 22 points up in the 3rd ending up losing the game.. I'm seeing UP to end this season 0-14 or maybe 1-13... if they will continue to play like this..

It was and perhaps will be their best chance to win a game this season and they messed it up. NU got lucky in the end though.

Somewhere, I imagine Coach Aboy Castro shaking his head in disbelief.
 
i think UP should get some good ball handlers. their guards were just stalling under the fullcourt press and dt's of nu. a sorry loss for state u.

btw this isn't really important but i heard a rumor that kiefer is actually into guys, which i find really weird. I'm an Ateneo High School grad from 09 and you just hear all these things floating around campus, haha!
