Good thing you aren't the dude making decisions for Detroit.  Backus played alot better last year than in previous years, plus picking up a left gaurd in free agency helped alot.  Easy decision to pick up a DT with that #2 pick, especially with picking up Kyle Vanden Bosch you need a dominant interior lineman to help your ends get pressure.  Plus that defense was horrid,  maybe if they can get pressure on opposing qb's they can keep the score low which would mean Stafford isn't back there trying to make to much happen down by 2+ touchdowns.
