Most of mine are gifts and I never get rid or give away gifts. The oldest one I have is Very Sexy for men (I think) had it over 5 yrs (maybe). When I wear it, it'll last a good 5-6 hours. It's all about where you store it.

If you guys are storing them in humid or damp places, you're really messing up your cologne. Store it in a cool, dark place and they last. I still have my Lacoste Essential from '06 which is still good.

Cosign.  If you store fragrances the proper way they will last for a LONG time.  Heat and light are the biggest enemies to fragrances.

Guys big suggestion that I do, I always go to a local shop here in RI that sell the colognes for couple dollars less than retail and I always ask to buy the tester instead of the regular. The tester tends to be a bit stronger for marketing purposes

I had dis sample cologne by Dolce & Gabbana but i dun remember da exact name of it. It smelled like Vanilla wit a man scent.
