2012 Official NFL Fantasy Football Thread

I just lost Cedric Benson for the year, so I'm wondering if this trade helps me out a bit.

I give: Kenny Britt
I get: S-Jax

My team:
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Foster, Matthews, Mendenhall, JStew
WR: Roddy, Nicks, Colston, Britt, Simpson
TE: Finley

10 team league, no PPR, standard ESPN scoring.
 
Gotta pick a QB up off waivers this week since Brees is on a bye.

Kevin Kolb vs. Bills
Alex Smith vs. Giants

I'm leaning toward Kolb. Bills D is terrible.

I think your team is fine as is but if you can get Jackson for Britt, go for it.

If it's just those two, then Kolb. I would wait and see how Smith's finger is holding up though. Even with Smith against the Giants defense, I still have a tough time putting trust in Kolb.
 
2 straight wins after losing my first 3 matchups. Feelsgoodman

Cam is on bye and I'm glad, let him settle down for a week...thinking about picking up Kolb as my bye week QB...also Alex Green might be a low risk, high reward pickup

Yeah I don't really like Kolb either, but if Sanchez can put up 20+ against them then I'm confident Kolb can too :lol:.

I'm also hurting at RB. I have Leshoure starting this week with Sproles on a bye. Only other RBs I have are Ben Tate and Michael Bush :x. I'm thinking about picking up and starting Alex Green from GB since Benson won't be playing. There really isn't anyone else available on the wire. Shonn Greene and LeGarrette Blount are probably the only other 2 worth picking up. Maybe Brandon Bolden or Danny Woodhead but idk. Any suggestions?
 
Bolden or Green from that group. Blount may be a sneaky play going up against KC but more of a high risk, low-medium reward I suppose.

I would definatley do trade #1.  As for the second trade, I know Green Bay recievers are inconsistant, but Garcon has yet to turn it on since his foot injury.  That one is a toss up for me.  I love Stafford for Harvin tho

I would go Cruz, Welker, Mendenhall and V Jax.

I would start Eli, but bench the Giants D.  Try either TB D or Minn, especially if RGIII is out

I know I might be giving up a little too much, but I needed to shake things up a bit. My RBs seriously weren't cutting it and me being 2-3 with a few key players on a bye this week I really needed to make a move.

Who is available? James Starks/Alex Green, or LaRod Stephens Howling/William Powell would be decent options if you are desperate.
 
Is Chris Johnson basically not even worth trading for at this point?

I got Murray & Mendenhall, but I still want another back for depth and certain match ups. Jonathan Stewart sucks :lol:




Also just got offered DONALD BROWN for Daryl Washington (Linebacker)
How do you guys feel about that? Washington is pretty damn good in these IDPs.
Should I take it? My other LB is Jerod Mayo and I would have to pick someone up off the waiver wire to fill Washingtons spot

If your team has a high chance of making the playoffs, even when you stash him on the bench, then I think CJ-2k is a good addition, he'll be facing IND, NYJ and GB in weeks 14-16.
