He did it last year and was performing at the MTV Movies Awards during Summer Jam.

I'm glad I didn't go this year, though Jeezy, Big Sean, Waka, Nas showed out. I would've just been there to mingle with people I don't see all the time and find me some Becky's. Man, when it comes to ratchet compared to here NYC is on another level.
 
Came back from summer jam around 2am and this was on my mind.

I can understand why lil wayne would pulled nicki off the show bc of what happen. He tweeted Young Money wasnt doing summer jam......BUT....Tyga performed......so im puzzled by that.

Anywho is was a good show, rain sucked alot and got soaked. But i enjoyed it.

I'm not saying that we don't have a lot of ratchet chicks in NYC, but isn't SummerJam held out in Jersey?  So it's ratchetness from all over heading over there.
 
I think artists are way too sensitive nowadays. I mean, Nicki knows that some of the stuff she puts out is poppy. She knows that people wont call it "hip hop". But the point is what do her fans like. Who cares what 1 person says.

Also I think its kinda worse that she's Waynes lap dog and does whatever he says. Make your own decisions. Thats why I kinda like that Drake is trying to distance himself from Young Money and kinda does his own thing

Their set got cut short because the show was running behind, they were way over curfew. Only Mase, Raekwon, and Method Man were able to get on stage....with that being said that whole MMG/French set (I won't say Khaled since he only had 5 minutes) was trash.
 
summer jam parking lot was more fun than summer jam, should've never went inside.

met some bad black chicks with UK accents and everyone was just more fun out there.

plus it wasn't just people on top of people in crowds.

cops were on power trips and I saw a lot of innocent people get attacked, tackled, pinned 8 v 1 by cops for something as simple as exiting the wrong way

i could literally see the racist ones out for blood just trying to get in their exercise, broke my heart but tried to not let it ruin the show which wasn't htat great to begin with.


big sean was def the best performance, i don't mess with everyone else like that. ross and meek i expected more.
j. cole is my dude but he has no stage appearance.

oh and flex sounded stupid as hell talking about commercial rap is dead, $*%%$ that is all you play.
i wish we could go back in time cause back in the day hot 97 refusing to play YM records and stuff like that could make an impact as it was our only sauce of hip hop a while back but those days are far gone.
cold move by YM tho I didn't care to see them anywho

I can't speak on how the cops were out in the parking lot, but up front there was equal opportunity force used on a ton of people. I really don't know why these kids were getting jacked up by cops and security, but they kept getting escorted out forcefully.
I agree with you on Flex - this dude Flex was yelling out something like 'We don't mess with commercial rappers' throughout his set, which consisted of rihanna songs, cash out and every other commercial track out right now.
 
I wanted to see cam/jada/styles but i was greatly dissapointed. Biddies all over the place tho
 
^ yeah i went inside too but i had more fun on the outside.

most of the kids getting jacked up on the stage floor / field was because they jumped down from above or snuck in but got caught.

I can understand that but there was a lot of excessive force and things going on for people minding their business.

like me and my boy got separated and he was literally directly behind the cop and the cops were moving people and he wouldn't just let my boy come to me or me go to him and he started talking about I'm going to get arrested, and back the ++!@ off. shoving and %%%$.

Hot 97/Flex are basically full of S...

What are they gonna do over there? NOT play Young Money/Cash Money records? That's gonna get overruled easily. 
 
^If only Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and other cities in the South would do the same. Hell, Miami should too

to be fair she's selling more than any artist regardless of where she's selling.
but the tracks are trash.

flex should just say what ppl are thinking. come back to hip hop. enough with the facial ticks, weird accents and pop records.
