Ok...so I repeated something he said himself...and I'm the fool

No man, I never said you're a fool. I said you will never escape some of the foolish things you said in the past. Calling others stupid, or saying others will look stupid is interesting considering certain things you've said in the past. Everyone's wrong sometimes but not everyone calls others stupid or makes such pointed statements.

they are not a big factor in legacy but they do count for something when it comes to fan entertainment value

antawan has as many as dirk (2) and more than duncan (1)

That's why I **** with Kobe so tough. He never gave a damn about % he just did it for the fans

It's Cleveland or nothing. But I can definitely see him leaving Miami, it's not like he can't come back and go live in MIA as a second home away from home? He's the biggest athlete to ever wear a miami uniform.

I don't see Lebron wanting to start all over somewhere he's never been before dead middle of his prime. Too much going on right at this point in career for him to relocate somewhere with his family being right behind him. So he'll come back here and try to win a few with the young kids on the Cavs squad.

I've called it a for a while now, that he'd come back so his kids can attend SVSM high school. So it has a personal sentiment to it, plus this is home for him. Coming back here and winning would have an unprecedented impact on his legacy.

That would make a lot of stupid-opinionated NTers look even stupider...8o

Man, I remember some of the things that you said before LeBron left Cleveland. It got pretty foolish and a little annoying. I remember people blocking you just so they wouldn't read some of the stuff you said.

For what it's worth--You've gotten a lot better after he left :lol

Top 5 MVP race in my opinion
1. KD
2. LeBron
3. LA
4. Paul George
5. Stephen Curry

he didnt do it for the fans he did it for himself :lol

and im a kobe fan

that boy greedy

he wants to beat you everytime no matter how bad he looks

and alot of times this gets the team in trouble

the gift and curse

Well I'm not gonna deny that :lol

But what I mean is he plays to win, he plays for himself but a huge part of his game is to impress the crowd. There have been plenty of games where he was playing basic basketball and shooting well over 60% in the first half and then start taking wild shots and end up below 50. In a league where guys are so concerned about not looking bad and preserving their % (ex not taking half court and beyond shots to end quarters) kobe never gave a **** about that as long as he put on a show. He knows how to win but he's a great entertainer also

Crazy just how much more isolation-based offenses are these days. I thought 37 team assists in that game was impressive.

The most team assists in the data range (since 1985) is 52. Of the top 100 occurrences, only five have happened since 2000.

Damn shame, that. I imagine it's a byproduct of the rule changes in 2001. Would love to see a macro breakdown of year to year average assist numbers.

KD is such a freak. A guy with that frame shouldn't be able to move and shoot like that. :x
Maryland's finest :hat

I would love for anyone to convince me why Lebron would go back to Cleveland and play under both Dan Gilbert and Mike Brown. There is no way he leaves Miami and Pat Riley. No ******g way.

Anyways, it probably doesn't mean **** to anyone on NT aside from Wizards fans, but they have a big game tonight. Playing the Pistons at VC and it's a prime opportunity for the team to go OVER .500. Being over .500 is something that hasn't happened since Gil, Caron, and Jamison were playing here. I'm hoping they can put forth another good effort, like they have vs. the Heat/Bulls, and get over that hump. It would be huge for the guys on that roster.

^ The whole East, minus 3-4 teams are under .500. It's not much of an accomplishment this season.

LeBron won't go back to Cle. I think he stays in Mia because where the hell else is he gonna go? They said Dan Gilbert and LeBron haven't spoken and Dan still hates the guy so I don't think it's something they would work out.

What I'm most interested in is what kind of contract do they give Wade? They can't give him anything close to a max because he's done and I doubt they give Bosh a max so where does he go?

:lol @ it not being much of an accomplishment. For this franchise, specifically, it IS an accomplishment.

anyways,

Highly unlikely that Lebron leaves Miami to play under Mike Brown with a team that struggles to make the playoffs in a conference where you don't even need a winning record to qualify.

I really cant see him going to a third team. It would put a black spot on his resume if he did so. People would start saying that hes never about taking the long road to a championship, only goes for stacked teams, etc etc etc. The only two options are Miami or Cleveland to me.

Exactly.

Dude took all that criticism after that loss to Dallas and while he's a lot different player and person mentally now those things would come back even harder if he went somewhere else and failed.

Bron doesn't come off as one of those dudes who love to be hated, he just seems like one of those dudes who are like "if you hate me it's ok cause a million other love me". :{

Because his wife wants to be in Ohio and more importantly wants their children in school here.
