i agree lance is a very good player. overpaid is a result of a number of teams with cap space and not a lot of top tier free agents. hard to judge him when he plays alongside PG, hibbert, west etc in a very good system.

harden, kobe, wade, jj, gordon, beal, klay, ellis, derozan, kmart, lance are probably the top 10-11, which is terrible

10 years ago, your top 10 included guys like vc, tmac, ai, ray allen, young wade, kobe
id throw in afflalo before alot of those other two guards

:lol i never actually knew what a clipper was

lance will get overpaid. hes a 4th or 5th option on a great team. as a #1 or #2 he wont be nearly as successful.

4th or 5th option? LOLOL

Anyways, I'm not saying that he's anywhere close to Harden's level, but people were saying some of the same **** about him as well.

Personally, I think he'd be awesome as a #2 on a good team.

He's the fourth option in the starting lineup, but the first option when he's anchoring the second unit.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with him making over $8 million per or being my nightly second option if I were a GM or fan.

I feel like Rondo to the Knicks would completely turn that team into a playoff contender...his offensive skill can balance out offense...there needs to be more facilitating, and less shooting attempts by a couple players. Rondo would spread the offense and allow Melo to take less shots, but still be more effective.

JR Smith, Barg, draft picks for Rondo. Do it Dolan.

he might be....i don't think he can shoot off the dribble well enough to be an elite 2 gaurd, plus he currently doesn't face the other teams best defender when it matters.

he has 3rd most number of FG attempts on his team, ahead of hibbert but roy has about 70 more FT attempts per game. so i guess 3rd or 4th option on the pacers.

I feel like Knicks can't win with melo. They need to trade him for rondo and the 30 draft picks the celtics have. Win win for both teams IMO

Wouldn't the Knicks be offering like 2022 picks for Rondo?

Do they have a pick within the next 10 years? Serious question.

No way Ainge bites on that. We're trying to rebuild, and getting a volume scorer soon to be on the wrong side of 30 is not worth giving up all the picks we've stockpiled. Find another sucker.

all of this, lance is playing way better then I every thought he would, but lance as a number 2 option on a champ ship team? ya the **** right. he is in the prefect role for him right now.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari had reconstructive ACL surgery on Tuesday will miss th... http://bit.ly/LPjNQj
ummmmmmm so why the **** did it take so long for ACL surgery?

Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports, NBA Writer
Gallinari never had the ACL surgery in April, only surgery to repair his meniscus. Story soon on Yahoo.

Apparently Gallinari only had surgery on the meniscus & the Nuggets hoped the ACL would heal on its own. Doesn't make sense to me but hey....

Wow, I didn't realize he never had surgery to repair his ACL, only his meniscus. The Nuggets thought his ACL could heal on its own. This seems like quite a screw-up on their part.

I recognize how great Lance has been playing, but I'd be very hesitant to offer him a big contract. Maybe he's breaking through and will continue to improve and develop... or maybe he's just in the perfect scenario and this is the best we'd see. Or it's just his contract year and this is the same story we've seen over and over.

I'm rooting for the kid and I hope he keeps getting better and gets paid what he deserves.. but I'd be concerned.

I understand Lance probably wouldn't have flourished anywhere else besides Indiana...but do Knicks fan feel any type of way that they drafted Andy Rautins and Landry Fields with back to back picks...right before Lance?

Lance is one of those players who are better off in places like Indiana or Milwaukee. The moment he ends up in a larger market area like NY, LA, or even Miami, he will lose focus and turn into another Jr Smith.
