Dudes undervaluing KDs ability In iso situations. I'd say earlier in his career he wasn't strong in that area. But now? He can score on anybody. His handle is top notch.

If Howard has stone hands, what does Asik have :lol ?

paul george is 23. why are we acting like he can't get better?

Man it isn't that. He said Paul George could be TMac. I, along with most people just don't see that in the cards with him. PG was at 17 a game last year, do you know what Mac was doing at PG's age? (Not asking you specifically, just generally saying that)

I personally don't even see star/first option in the cards for him either. He was barely 17 a game last year. To me, he's a great piece to have on a winning team, but not the number option on a winning team. He just doesn't have the elements or make up of a star player.

Bad comparison because pg will never have the chance to avg 20+ shots a game with hibbert and west as his teammates, pg only avgs 15 shots, t mac was throwing up 20+ shots during his prime, kd would avg 40+ if he avg 27 shots like kobe in 06, it will never happen because he has help

Dwight is only 3 seasons removed from averaging 23 and 14

and 2 seasons removed from averaging 20 and 14.5

**** a post move, what else do you possibly want the guy to do?

People complaining about Dwights post moves = people complaining about Bron's jumpshot in 2010

i've always said this. who cares how you're scoring, so long as you are scoring :lol

Dwight is an underrated player on the block it seems nowadays. He isn't terrible. And for what it's worth, he does get the job done. Albeit not in the typical big man fashion today. (Most of his points are either assisted, or come off of putbacks, but he does get it done.)

However, he doesn't have the softest of hands and he's so stiff and robotic that all his moves look rigid, there's no fluidity in them at all. All mechanical. It's like, you can tell he literally practiced the exact move that he's performing in that exact way. This is why sometimes he looks good, and sometimes he does not. Anyone knows that when you're that mechanical, any adjust by the defense will make you look like ****.

Only 23? Go look at Kobe, Durant, Lebron, Melo, Pierce, Tmac, Jordan, Iverson, etc stats at 23. If George was going to be an elite scorer he would have shown it by now, he's not a rookie.

George isn't even a first option scorer at this point. Dude shot 41.9% from the field :x

So by " why are we acting like he can't get better", you thought it would be  realistic to compare him to some of the best scorers in NBA history?

Oh yeah, and he took his team to game 7 of the ECF as their best player.

Tell that to the people who were comparing him to Tmac.. ie one of the best scorers in NBA history

I dont think anybody said he was as good of a scorer as TMac, but that his style of play reminds them of TMac.

Big SG's/SF's, lanky, super athletic, ect.  And he's already a better defender

that season tmac averaged 32, he shot the ball 24 times a game lol.

PG won't get those type of shot attempt numbers because he actually plays on a good team. he didn't shoot well from the field last year, hence my "he can still get much better"

His skill set, offensively, is still a ways from tmacs. Shot attempts are irrelevant

Was very impressed by the Bennett highlight clip P posted a few pages ago.

He's definitely out of shape but he was hitting those jumpers and 3s almost effortlessly.

The talented is definitely there, just a matter of him getting into and staying in shape.

just finished my fantasy draft.

Ty Lawson

Iggy

Paul George

Tim Duncan

Marc Gasol

Rondo

Andre Drummond

Al Horford

Jamal Crawford

Gordon Hayward

Brandon Knight

Andre Kirilenko

Shawn Marion

I tried to lean towards guys who can play multiple positions, and guys who will fill the stat sheet in multiple categories.

Cavs and Wizards will probably be my favorite teams to watch this year besides the two time defending champs

Kyrie/Bennett/Yolo :hat :hat

Wall/Beal/Porter :hat :hat

Cant wait to see a full season of John Wall as well nice young team that i feel will make some noise, Also Beal came along late in the season but thats what matters the most after a slow start to his season

People just dont appreciate Dwight plain and simple, I personally feel that people are all down on him cause it didnt work out in L.A. thats all the system just didnt fit his game thats all...

You can't mention Ibaka as if he benefits KD, when his game (offensively since that's what we are talking about) is almost exclusively assisted mid range jumpers. We saw how he looked with no Westbrook last playoffs, went from being the highest % mid range shooting in the whole league at over 55% on them to 30.1%

You don't think having one of the highest % mid range shooters in the league benefits a scorer? If Ibaka couldn't hit those, the lane would be more packed than it already is. Ibaka hitting that shot is even more important considering PERKINS is the other starter.
