Dwight is only 3 seasons removed from averaging 23 and 14
and 2 seasons removed from averaging 20 and 14.5
**** a post move, what else do you possibly want the guy to do?
People complaining about Dwights post moves = people complaining about Bron's jumpshot in 2010
People just dont appreciate Dwight plain and simple, I personally feel that people are all down on him cause it didnt work out in L.A. thats all the system just didnt fit his game thats all...
Riiiiiiight. So I'm curious as to why we've seen Paul George's peak, but we havent seen Blakes....just humor me.Blake will have career numbers this year. We've seen PG's peak, but havent seen Blake's right?

Dwight is an underrated player on the block it seems nowadays. He isn't terrible. And for what it's worth, he does get the job done. Albeit not in the typical big man fashion today. (Most of his points are either assisted, or come off of putbacks, but he does get it done.)
However, he doesn't have the softest of hands and he's so stiff and robotic that all his moves look rigid, there's no fluidity in them at all. All mechanical. It's like, you can tell he literally practiced the exact move that he's performing in that exact way. This is why sometimes he looks good, and sometimes he does not. Anyone knows that when you're that mechanical, any adjust by the defense will make you look like ****.

I agreeWe've seen PG's peak.
Actually, most turned on Dwight when he couldn't make up his mind in Orlando, said he wanted to stay, then wanted to go to Brooklyn, got his coach fired, etc.
There were those who thought he was corny, didn't give him his respect, kept asking him to be someone he wasn't, all before the Dwightmare saga started up... but most turned on him before he went to Los Angeles.
More so the other way around but absolutely. Ibaka couldn't even make dunks this playoff run though, much less hit a jump shot. You can't mention Ibaka as if he benefits KD, when his game (offensively since that's what we are talking about) is almost exclusively assisted mid range jumpers. We saw how he looked with no Westbrook last playoffs, went from being the highest % mid range shooting in the whole league at over 55% on them to 30.1%
You don't think having one of the highest % mid range shooters in the league benefits a scorer? If Ibaka couldn't hit those, the lane would be more packed than it already is. Ibaka hitting that shot is even more important considering PERKINS is the other starter.
This + the fact that Dwight isn't the typical 7 foot center. He's closer to 6'10. As a back to the basket low post option, he's not going to consistently dominate big and strong centers. Dwight is a physical beast but he's not a giant like Bynum or Shaq. This wouldn't be a problem if he had Duncan's soft touch but he just doesn't. It's something you're born with.
He's still one of the best pick and roll finishers in the league + still commands doubles in the low post + draws a TON of fouls. So his lack of offense is wildly overblown.
the thumbnail says it alli dont know how true it is (i was 8 at the time) but i love the story about how hakeem was so pissed that admiral won MVP that year, he just straight out embarrassed him in the playoffs
“@RobertPera: Sorry Memphis fans about @aa000G9 1:1 postponement! Here's some film of me getting in some work the day of the match http://t.co/2YeAJY3LkD”
Ant Davis might put up 20 and 10 this year and if not he'll get damn close to it.
