Dwight is only 3 seasons removed from averaging 23 and 14
and 2 seasons removed from averaging 20 and 14.5
**** a post move, what else do you possibly want the guy to do?
People complaining about Dwights post moves = people complaining about Bron's jumpshot in 2010
People just dont appreciate Dwight plain and simple, I personally feel that people are all down on him cause it didnt work out in L.A. thats all the system just didnt fit his game thats all...
Actually, most turned on Dwight when he couldn't make up his mind in Orlando, said he wanted to stay, then wanted to go to Brooklyn, got his coach fired, etc.
There were those who thought he was corny, didn't give him his respect, kept asking him to be someone he wasn't, all before the Dwightmare saga started up... but most turned on him before he went to Los Angeles.

Man people appreciate Dwight y'all need to get the hell out of here with that, everybody knows he's the best defensive center maybe even player of his generation. To act like he isn't a mental ****** in the paint is just not being objective though, he's worked with Ewing since his first year and Hakeem over the last couple with little to no improvement. Bad footwork and stone hands, but at the same time I don't even care because of his game changing defensive abilities, Rockets do not need him to get more than 17-19 a game since they have the best 2 guard in the league.

This + the fact that Dwight isn't the typical 7 foot center. He's closer to 6'10. As a back to the basket low post option, he's not going to consistently dominate big and strong centers. Dwight is a physical beast but he's not a giant like Bynum or Shaq. This wouldn't be a problem if he had Duncan's soft touch but he just doesn't. It's something you're born with.
He's still one of the best pick and roll finishers in the league + still commands doubles in the low post + draws a TON of fouls. So his lack of offense is wildly overblown.

More so the other way around but absolutely. Ibaka couldn't even make dunks this playoff run though, much less hit a jump shot.
Speaking of which, pic of Russ from today's Moore benefit blue/white scrimmage. He isn't able to do any basketball activities, just can walk around and shoot fts.
It was KD/RJax/Thabo/Ibaka/Thabeet (white) v Lamb/Collison/Roberson/Fisher/Adams (blue) starting.

i agree with all these points, but last year he complained about the pick and roll offense and this year he goes right out and says he wants the offense to run through him in the post. thats why i have a hard time taking him seriously.

i dont know how true it is (i was 8 at the time) but i love the story about how hakeem was so pissed that admiral won MVP that year, he just straight out embarrassed him in the playoffs
