people are fans of the teams, not the owners

would be mad if the clippers did anything to protest in the playoffs, they worked too hard all year for eachother to throw it all away

If I was Doc Rivers I would not allow my players to play the remaining he's until he issues a sincere apology. After the jumpball just have all the Clippers players stand on the court united as one. Doc Rivers and this clippers teams would be regarded as hero's. Its something that needs to be done

Since there's a bit of a lull...did we come to a consensus on whether or not to have series threads?

As great as this would be, they put too much time into this to lose a game this way.

I'm just asking. If you think someone's a colossal douche no matter if they own a team, a clothing company or make chicken wings how do you feel about helping put money in their pocket?
tbh I still buy Chick Fil A every damn day when they had that scandal a while back about the gay thing. You don't just give up your fan card because the owner is a bigot. You do everything you can to get him out of office but you don't stop supporting the team regardless if it helps the owner get money. Sterling is going to be rich regardless

Sterling's girlfriend probably a Warriors fan :{

not going to work honey.

real talk, is it illegal to be a racist?

I don't see anything coming from this other than a fine.

“It’s a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans.”

He adds, “He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring a championship to Clippers fans.”

Couldn't the Warriors step up and do the same out of solidarity?

That said, I'm not sure if it's the player's responsibility to make huge sacrifices of their own to force this change when the larger institution wants to ignore it...  Then again, that's how change is made.  I'm conflicted on that.
