glad someone admitted the obvious moving screen

but then again not many NTers can spot things like that and claim to know about the game.

Right. You know if it was Andre Drummond or Greg Monroe that did the exact same thing you wouldn't say anything about it.

i wouldnt? :lol

ok

i would tho, im not bias. the pistons do their fair share of mistakes, im not like some of you :lol

nice game by iguodala against the 6ers... curry with the triple double too.

the clippers went off last night :eek

there's not a soul on earth that could stay in front of CP3 after a screen and THAT many dribbles. Asik should've left Blake open at the elbow and protected the rim.

i see a moving screen and a pushoff that weren't called. i also see lazy defense.

beverly isn't a shutdown defender, but at least he would make it a LITTLE harder for cp3.

It was an obvious moving screen, but that is not where the hype of the play lies so most do not care

Plus, Blake didn't really even impede Lin's progress. He was almost trying to avoid too much contact with him. If Griffin would have actually moved Lin, they probably would have called it. But he didn't it.

That "screen" by Blake is pretty hilarious.
This is RAMPANT in the NBA. Players will miss the mark on their screen and just keep sliding over till the spacing is right for the guy going around the screen. A lot of top teams and players have been getting over on this for years. NBA needs to reevaluate how moving screens are called cause its way too much of an advantage for the offenses. Blake starts his screen outside the 3 point arch and damn near ends up by the paint. A KG career illegal screen highlight package would be hilarious.

Personally I think there should be a 2 second rule for screens. If you miss your mark on a screen you shouldn't be allowed to just move over and set another. Call it illegal offense lol.

A lot of gamewinners have been made the last few years on those same kind of illegal screens too. How are you supposed to defend a shooter when a screener is sliding south and the shooter has range or a quick release? There's simply not enough time to get around these moving screens. It's almost worst than when a screener hits the defender cause at least then you can look and say he impeded him clearly. With this he's just making it take way longer for player to be able to get back in front of his man.

It wasnt a moving screen, cp3 just used blake as a screen while blake was trying to set a screen

There wasn't even an official screen set in that case.

..and that's why the refs didn't call anything.

Trying to set a screen while your pg is constantly moving and you dont know where hes going is a moving screen?
If you're impeding the defender? Hell yes!? Why not let him walk CP3 all the way to the rim while CP3 is making up his mind then? Lol

The onus should be on the screener to set the screen in one location and the ball handler to utilize the screen set in that location. Not the defender to get out of the screeners way while he sets the perfect screen. It's beyond unfair to the defender.

If you don't make contact with the defender the refs never call it, every time cats try to pressure the ball full court you see the big run right in front of him nobody calls a moving screen.

its pretty consistent, they never call it unless you make contact without your feet set.

It's a moving screen... but they never blow the whistle if there isn't a collision. What are y'all crying about? On a fast break players always used lead players as "lead blockers" and that's not called either. If they started calling moving screens like that it would slow down the game so bad

That doesn't work because then Blake also brings the guy defending him right to the rim, so it would basically defeat the purpose of the screen. The reason that CP got an open lay up is because Blake stayed out of the paint and Asik stayed with him instead of protecting the rim.

Has there ever been another Number 1 overall pick who didn't score a bucket through his first four games? I can't imagine there is. Even Kwame Brown and Mike Olowokandi are thinking Bennett is off to a pretty bad start.
