Sure if he can make them like he did on one of the best nights of his career consistently, sure he can take 5 jumpers a game. Either way, I didn't say he should completely abandon his midrange jumper. I said he needs to work on his shot selection. That doesn't mean never taking jumpshots. That means not taking jump shots off the dribble. Only taking jump shots when he's open.

Outside of 9 feet, he shoots 32% from the field. I'm not pretending to watch Sacramento games religiously but being a 32% midrange shooter isn't good. That's one of the lower percentage plays in all of basketball. Taking a 32% two-point shot with no chance of drawing a foul 5

And yes, I know he takes those jump shots because he needs his face up game to succeed but he needs to either take better/less shots or start making that midrange shot at a 40% clip to actually be a good player.
