2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Sark went on the radio and said he needs three to four years before he can be judged? Will he even get that much time if he's doing what he did at Washington?

Shane Morris = Unproven
Wilton Speight and David Sills = Two questionable QB's.
After Devin the QB situation is shaky.

Did I decipher that right?

Devin is hurt and I give him a lot of credit for trying to grind out wins but he has regressed so much... I blame Borges mainly but Devin just seems weak to me... I was fooled into thinking he would ball out this year but he didn't... Came up big in 2 games but thats about it... Morris has done nothing and if he was half as good as many think, he would have at least done something to see the field.. Hell, they burned his RS to only have him take garbage snaps and snaps when DG lost his helmet... Talk about a waste of a year... Coaches are thinking that QBs are beating down the doors to play at Michigan... These recruits were potty training when Brady was taking snaps here.

I wouldn't say perfect timing, more like the cave opening was closing and Peterson slid under and barely had enough time to grab his hat and whip before it slammed to a close. If he would have waited any longer, he would be trapped in the cave until he died.

Yup I think he tried to ride that Boise gig too long, udub is def a step up but he could've gone to a better one at the peak of the Boise success

Interested in seeing how this plays out in the Mountain West especially with Petersen gone and uncertainty in State's future. The MWC deal with Boise ensured that they'd make the most money of any team.

All reports indicate Haden did not extend an offer.  (ESPN)

And of course immediately CP removes himself from the running of the USC job.

There was no interest, why extend an offer. They interviewed him, didn't see him as a fit. Success at Boise State doesn't guarantee success at the next stop. Well see if CP can hack it in a major conference.

I personally wish they'd keep recruiting dual threat guys. I don't know how our Oline will develop but at this point you need someone who can make a play with his legs. If I could get guys like Jameis or Teddy over statue, drop back passers I'd be happy. I don't know how much those two run they seem mobile enough to make plays with their legs.

Writer for insidetexas.com "Jesus Shuttlesworth" is saying that Saban to Texas is a done deal. Don't know how reliable he or the site is, but here's a link that summarizes the news on another website:
