That was a smart move by FAU. Now my HS football coach is telling me to transfer there because they will have a top-15 program in 5 years.

and if strong starts locking the state down early like mack brown use to do how would he have room for players from Florida? 2-3 kids fine but class half of Florida players and Texas players wont happen with how rich in talent Texas as a state is.

I think he's got very little chance of locking the state down the way Mack did in the late 90s and early 00s... He's not walking into a state where Tech and Baylor are train wrecks, LSU/Bama have no presence, and A&M set up to fall off the cliff with RC Slocum like Mack did in 1996...

I believe that, at least with the 2015 class as it stands right now, A&M is going to lock up 4 of the 5 best players in the state (three of them defensive 5* caliber kids) in that class and Texas only got the other because Mack took his brother that nobody wanted in the '14 class... Early, I thinkStrong gas to look elsewhere for elite talent because Sumlin and A&M are so far ahead for a lot of them at the moment.

Do you think Sumlin is just going to lose the foothold they've gained the last two years because of Charlie Strong?
