27+34 "could" pull like #20, or somethin like that. A team maybe tryin to save money slidin down and pick up the extra 2.

Possible, just depends how aggressive Mitch wants to be. (And if there is a seller)

LeVert or RHJ is exactly who we need.

Fully expecting Rondo to come with at least two kids from the draft. Boss too, I hope.

Rondo and Davis vs Love and Ellington maybe?
I'll take the latter.

Nick Young is a untradeable piece, aka the worst kind of asset you can have.

Kelly still trash, guys

He absolutely has value. Rotational piece with team friendly deal for another rotational piece with not so friendly deal+small asset. Absolutely.

$4mil vs $9mil and veto power vs $15mil.

All 3 bench players. Who has more value?

Hill has the most value cause he's not a bum. He didn't have that contract last year.

Trade Value?

Wrong. Absolutely wrong.

He doesn't have trade value at $9mil. Especially with that veto power he had, and used.

But even then it's not untradable.

Raymond Felton, Marcus Thornton, Javale McGee, Jarrett Jack, J.R. Smith, Jameer Nelson. Were all traded.

Untradeable is a term that doesn't exist for guys making 10-15% of the cap. Some easily moved, some you have to trade an asset with.

But to say Nick Young at $4mil is UNTRADEABLE... Couldn't be traded if we tried is hilarious, misguided, and wrong based on the years and years of the most wacky trades possible.

3 years of him however, makes him real close to untradeable. 1-2 years, sure. But 3 full years? As he hits 30, coming off an injury, and sucks, that's pretty untradeable, for now.

In a year or two, maybe.

Exactly. The number isn't bad, the years are just stupid.

Cap is going up to $90mil in year 2 & 3.

Soooooooooooooo 5% of the cap..

Untradeable? :lol

I'm not saying you are getting a lottery pick for him.... But you couldn't even find one taker IF we were actually looking to trade him? Bias has got you guys cross-eyed

:rollin

Somebody has to want him dude, or have a need for him. He's not an expiring, so no need there, he doesn't given anyone value of anything.

Yes, bums get traded. When they have a year left on their deals, or are 24-25 years old. He's not that.

30, injured, 3 full years on deal, no defense, 41% "shooter", you could draft someone to fill those roles, and pay him a million a year, and he'd have upside at least.

Yes, he could be a miracle deal, but we would have to give up something big with him I'd guess. Otherwise, nobody is callin for Nick Young.

Untradeable.

No one will bail the Lakers out again.

You'll have to combine him with an actual asset that a team would want and he would be the poison pill kicker.

Straight up trade?

Untradeable.

After watching joe johnson, rudy gay (albiet he's playing better) and even kwame brown to some extent, get traded, I no longer believe any contract is untradable. Swaggy's greatest value, however, probably lies in being salary cap filler for some bigger trade.
