Having X is good, just so we have bodies out there. The team is stretched REAL THIN at the 3. Just having him available to play for little time here and there will help.

I don't expect X to play at all unless it is absolutely necessary, otherwise why make him "available". But price/clarkson is a respectable backcourt for the 2nd unit. Wish we had a formidable backup 3...shoulda brought someone into camp as soon as swaggy went down...oh wellz...leggo!

As far as I'm concerned there's only two ways this game can go: Kobe drops 30+ for a statement win or Jason Terry drops a bunch of backbreaking threes and everyone changes the channel.

Kobe either over does it, or we get whooped bad. They said D12 is back to his Orlando days. lol. I am more interested at Lin though. Dude is a silent assasin with Art of War Valedictorian IQ. lol

Will Kobe and Dwight just fist tap? Or hand shake then shoulder pull in? Or just the head nod? I am sure they will figure it out.

If only D12 was still a Laker.

Ok, so you just showed me his contract extension at age 31, and age 37. Thanks.

How bout the 7 year 122 million dollar contract he signed at age 25 in 2003?

Kawhi is 23 man. He doesn't need to take large discounts just yet, same as Tim Duncan didn't need to in 2003.
That contract wasnt his first one, he was 27

The first one was 3 yrs 33 mil.

And that 7 yr one was restructured in 2007

But regardless of all of that Kawhi aint gettin Timmy money regardless...I can see Tony Parker money but not Timmy "4 year max" money

I just remember him not taking the max to go to Orlando and taking less money to be with the Spurs.  He never had a 5-6 year max contract like Kawhi is asking for

not quite, but almost. he's healthy again, and he's looked really good. but for tonight? i'm expecting a little lack of conditioning. he didn't play very much in the preseason.

dwight only made the finals cuz shard and hedo were lights out from 3 that playoffs. They lived and died by the 3.

hopefully lakers handle business tonight and show that they're not as bad as people been saying.

Kobe- 24 5 and 5
Jlin- 14 6
Booz- 12 7

harden plays like a b8tchass and gets 15 free throw attempts, hopefully we see some "TOUGH" laker defense to make him earn those bull free throws.

What do you think allowed that to happen? Dwight drawing constant double teams allowing those guys to be wide open. He averaged 26 & 13 on 65% in the ECF that year. Cleveland had no answer for Dwight, they were forced to double him, and Hedo, Pietrus, Alston, and Shard had a field day. A big reason the Celtics were able to beat them relatively easily the next year was because Perk was able to guard Dwight one on one without as much help, allowing the Celtics to stay home on their shooters.
