" we might lose every game in November "

I'm sorry but you gone off the deep end my brother, it's one thing to be pessimistic but at least be realistic.

" Start the year 6-14, and they better start "resting" dudes for 2015-16 "

Do we look like the 76ers.....that ain't happening....especially after 20 games....you going too far with it seriously.

Are y'all 2 text buddies or something because y'all are very in sync....y'all gotta have some type of communication outside of NT it's unreal :lol :lol

After 20 games, if we are in that kind of situation where we are 5-15 or 6-14, there is no playoff/title run to be made. It would be futile effort.

But you COULD make the effort to keep your draft pick. Hence, begin selling off pieces (Hill, Lin) and "resting" guys like Kobe, or Boozer.

Try to position yourself for keeping the pick, as well as giving more time to Randle, Clarkson, Sacre, etc. Let them get 35-40 minutes, and see if they have anything we didn't know about.

If we start 6-14 and try to make a run, and wind up at like 33-34 wins, what exactly would the purpose be in that? That we tried hard? Why would that be more important than attempting to keep a valuable resource?

*shrugs*

And he said except Minnesota. We could lose every game in November, except Minnesota. :lol

And he also posted the rest days in relation to the rest of the NBA, and I posted how many 3 games in 4 nights, and even a 4 games in 5 nights we have just in the first 20 games.

We didn't tank all the way last year, and that's fine. We had our pick no matter what.
If faced with the same choice this year, and we could lose the pick, doesn't it make more sense to try harder to tank the "right" way? (I know that sounds terrible, tanking the right way, but you see what I mean in terms of really doing the job right, no letting Nick Young beat up on the Jazz in game 82 for no reason, etc etc)

I did post it wouldn't happen, just plausible.

They are in fact, lesser talented that every team they play in November besides Minnesota (post-Love trade).

Yup.

dude was so unbelievably money in this game. Legit Neo 'there is no spoon' version. Each shot had meaning. If he missed this 3, that's game. If he missed that fadeaway from the corner, that's game. If he missed the final 3 over rudy, that's game. Dude legit his them all. That's my shooting guard.

Some people just wanna watch and enjoy our team play, without the burden of feeling guilty for rooting for our team.

Smart or not, that's the way they choose to be fans.

This year, please just let people be fans the way they want to be without guilt.

Whether I choose to root for a win or a loss will probably change on a daily basis depending on our record and the circumstances (injuries, Kobe's playing ability, standings, etc). But some people may not care about any of the things were considering, some people will just wanna enjoy Laker games in the present and root for wins.

Let them.
Without mockery.
Without sarcasm.
Without demeaning their intelligence.

Just let them please.

We know not everyone thinks "smart."
But some people just wanna think with their heart instead of their brains with sports. They're allowed to.

Let's just keep that in mind this season, I ask.

Besides Kobe's ridiculous shots that game, I remember Alan Anderson scoring on Jodie Meeks at will.

well said LTB

looking forward to seeing growth in our young players if given the minutes  ( randle, clarkson), and the mamba going mamba ( i expect 20-23pts a game, 30 min?)

was that the 'how do you like your jodie' (or something like that) game?

i remember derosan (word to seaman) cooking the first three quarters but they decided to go to rudy in the 4th

Do yall blame Bynum or Bynum's knees for the way his career has played out?
can't really put blame on injury, but his knees

his knees for sure, put all that off the court ( playboy mansion, multiple cars, and rumors of "lack of effort")  out the door

for player, it can be exrtremely frustrating to put in rehab, strength and conditioning only to not be able to compete at the level you expect out of yourself.

as much as teams feel let down, it doesnt compare to knowing and having that same exact feeling about yourself.

Nash is going through it himself right now.

:lol

It very well might have been.

I blame Bynum's knees more than anything (probably 70/30). It's got to be frustrating as an athlete to rehab and rehab and get no positive results back. Of course some of his actions has had a negative effect on his career (parking in handicap, bowling, last practice with the Cavs :lol).
