But we've saw Dantoni at his MAX with the Suns.... and the best he got was "but one steve nash call away he's in the finals". He isn't young, he doesn't want to change his philosophy for anyone, he constantly clashes with players in the media, and he hasn't been out the first round since 07-08. He had a team with Kobe, Dwight & PAU damn near 10 games under .500 at one point.
WHY would you allow this man another year knowing that even when the pieces come together he still can't get over the hump. HE had Prime Amare, Prime Nash, Diaw, Qrich, Matrix, Bell and that's the furthest he ever got. And the man is notorious for having NO defensive strategy at all, NONE, from players to other coaches, to analyst, to scouts.... they are ALL wrong? you want to continue a system that gameplan revolves around not playing any D and outscoring the other team? This is what you want coaching a potential All-Star?

If you can't get an NBA job, you go to college, succeed there, then move to the NBA.
